Update: Got a response on Discord. They are looking into the GOG update.

As you probably know, the GOG version of Risen 3 lacks the Russian and Polish localizations available on Steam.

Yeah, the files of both localizations weren't removed and they can be enabled by editing the configuration file, but they are still not officially available.

It has been reported to GOG several times, but as you can see, nothing has changed.

A few days ago I decided to contact THQ Nordic support about this situation and today they said they would look into it.

Well, let's wait and see. (:

This is an issue with both Kingdom Rush and Kingdom Rush Frontiers. Both games are horribly outdated. I've pressed the issue a while ago with developers and they did send over the files to GOG. and I know this for a fact because GOG representative confirmed it in my ticket.

So for about a month and a half it's GOG who treats these games as second class. They have the files. They just don't care.

Have you asked why the devs don't just directly upload a build?

I guess that API did not exist at the time. They might just have to do it again now.

Are you sure that this really works for everyone? I remember a thread here a couple of days ago where somebody asked a developer if they had the possibility to update games by themselves and they didn't.

That thread would be over here.

We're talking about some very recent updates. Files that the dev supposedly manually submitted less than two months ago. I know for a fact that Build Creator has existed since at least 2019, possibly much longer. I know for a fact that some other developers have been able to directly upload builds since long ago.

Yeah, and that thread is really why I asked ChrisGriffin about it. I would like to see if another developer can confirm the story.. there's too much rumor and too little information to go by.

The entire catalog of games published by Funbox Media Ltd (aka Blue Moon Red Owl* on GOG) has become cheaper on Steam almost three years ago (in January 2018).

Game title - GOG price / Steam price:
- Expendable - $5.99 / $3.99;
- Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Incoming + Incoming Forces - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Litil Divil - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Mobile Forces - $5.99 / $3.99;
- Normality - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Nosferatu: Wrath of Malachi - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Realms of the Haunting - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Slipstream 5000 - $5.99 / $2.99;
- Soulbringer - $5.99 / $2.99.

A few months ago I tried to contact Funbox Media Ltd about price adjustments for GOG, but I never got any response from them.

It doesn't seem like they abandoned GOG because their games were discounted during the fall sale, and it's the publisher who sets the discounts, not the store.

If you have some free time, you can also try to contact Funbox Media Ltd. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did. (:

* - Blue Moon Red Owl seems to be a subdivision of Funbox Media Ltd related to mobile games, because they share the same address (according to Google). We can only guess why this label was used to publish these games on GOG.

Craft the World, SHENZHEN I/O, and Forager are all now the same versions as on Steam, so these may be removed from the list.

Just checked GOG for Disco Elysium and while I do not see the Soundtrack DLC the Artbooklet DLC is available on the store page so I believe the sheet can be updated to just say it is missing the Soundtrack at this point.
