Niffelheim missing dlc which makes the game (apparently) tolerable in terms of grind.
Circle Empires got updated to 1.3.3. I suppose this is the latest update, but I can't confirm it since GOG didn't post any changelog, and there's no version numbering for the updates on the Steam forums.

And I'd like to add that the devs at least said immediately after contactiing them that they are trying to get the DLC to GOG within the next few weeks - same for missing Linux. The way they talked it seemed as if they'd need to do additional work on the DLC to make it work on GOG - no idea of course if that's just PR talk.

Here is another good news. As we all know the Fran Bow OST is missing here on GOG. Back then when I asked Killmondaygames they saidf that GOG did not want to have paid soundtracks when Fran Bow has been released. I told them that things have changed and they told me that they might approach GOG again after they finished Little Misfortune. Little Misfortune was released but still nothing regarding the missing OST. Then it happened that I corrected the German localisation for Little Misfortune and I used the opportunity to ask them again. It took a bit but today I got my response which is promising:

""ohh! sorry! i had totally forgotten about this, so its good to remind me until you get an answer  and yes, i did talk to GOG and it should work this time, i just need to get the ball rolling""
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap has a paid DLC soundtrack on Steam, but no soundtrack available on GOG.
I asked the Curious Expedition devs about the missing artbook and soundtrack DLCs late last year, got this in response:
thanks for playing and for the suggestion! Right now we don't have any plans for that. I'm not sure if GOG supports bundles at the moment, I'll check with them in the next year if that's possible.
(by "next year" they mean 2020)

Going to assume that by "bundles" they mean like the kind on Steam (where you can buy a game + DLC with a discount). From what I understand, GOG has something similar, where discounts are auto-applied when you own the base game. So I relayed this info to the devs. Hopefully they consider. :)

I didn't even know this existed. Dragon's Trap is a true masterpiece, so not having the soundtrack here is a crime, especially since FLAC is available. I would hate to have to re-buy the game on STEAM just to get the soundtrack. :(

Or you could buy just the soundtrack from Bandcamp.

(I also got the Undertale soundtrack there.)
WOW! Valve is actually moving a finger? I'd love to think this is a sign of things to come, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin the intern just put some overtime to make this possible, while Valve is making VR games.

It's definitely a step in the right direction. I'd love to see both Valve and GOG push for FLAC whenever possible, but I think we all know the likelihood of that. Yes, we're seeing FLAC a lot more than in past years, but a lot of the soundtracks for new games are still being released as MP3 only. At a bare minimum, they should both require 320 kbps MP3 with proper tags and artwork.

Most game music, especially for indie games, is outsourced to a composer that isn't part of the development team. And it seems that the standard contract is that the composer keeps the right to monetize the soundtrack(usually via a platform such as bandcamp), while the game can only use the soundtrack, but not sell it as dlc, or only sell a lossy(mp3) version of it.

I know... I know... It's just that I've yet to come across a soundtrack that I absolutely can't live without, which would force me to create an account. Currently I'm past the point where getting on a new digital download platform isn't a hassle I'd rather not avoid.

EDIT: I just realized I used a double negative, but I think I used it correctly. Double negatives are so difficult to wrap one's brain around.

I believe Bandcamp doesn't require an account to purchase music. You just enter your payment information and e-mail address and get sent a link to where you can download the music.

itch.io works similarly, but for games rather than music. (I believe there is some music on that platform, but it's really meant for small indie games.)
