Something might happen in regards of the missing updates for Edge of Eternity (missing since 2023!).
GOG was asked about this on their Patrron discord and they replied:

"I poked people and can now say that we're on it. A solution has been found."

No idea what this solution might be given that the devs don't exist anymore ... but at least this means that GOG has not given up at the update completely So we MIGHT still get it after all these years ... and it is a major update with new features and improved storyline. Well ... I probably should not get my hopes up too much (I've been trying to get this update here since 2023) but I would also like to share this sparkle of hope with you all. It might just be the usual GOG PR but maybe this time it is real and I am really hoping for the latter. Given the fact that we recently finally also got the Frostpunk update maybe GOG really is trying to reduce this list for good. If they do I applaud them.

*Fingers crossed*
Just a warning for now

Quake

New Dawn of the Machine update missing, and even the FAQ acknowledges it is missing:

Which platforms is Dawn of the Machine available in Quake?

Dawn of the Machine is currently available on XBOX Series X/S, XBOX One, Microsoft PC Store, Game Pass, PC Game Pass, Steam, Nintendo Switch 2 (via backwards compatibility), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of Quake

Is Dawn of the Machine available on the Epic Games Store or GOG versions of Quake?

Dawn of the Machine is currently not available on the Epic Games Store or GOG versions of Quake

I play Quake on GOG or the Epic Games Store. Why do I see a “Disconnected from servers” message when invited to play Dawn of the Machine maps with players on Steam or console?

If you’re playing Quake on GOG or the Epic Games Store, you may see a “Disconnected from servers” message when accepting an invitation from a Steam or console player for Dawn of the Machine episode or maps. This message appears because the Dawn of the Machine update is currently available on supported platforms, while the GOG and Epic Games Store versions do not yet include this content. Your account has not been disconnected or penalized
Weird thing is that the current Steam release includes both the GOG and EGS exes so there is no excuse for not having the update day 1. It might come out soon since they haven't said it won't be here, but who knows how long will it take.

I might buy the game now.
Can anyone who owns Pneumata confirm if it's updated or not? It looks like it's missing two updates but it's not on the sheet.
Have GOG ever made similar comments on the Discord about other high profile games with missing updates? Like Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma for example?

Edit: Well for Skyrim I'm more concerned with the memory leak bug than additional awful updates from Bethesda that seem to just continually make everything worse.

Companies complaining that Steam is a monopoly rings hollow when they clearly pick Steam as a winner without regard to anyone else.

At least not to my knowledge and given that Dragon's Dogma could be a bit problematic since the GOG version was was made by a different company (General Arcade) - though Capcom of course remains the publisher and shoul dbe responsible for it - I would not hold my breath here.
Alphadia III - Just came out. Straight to the 2nd class list it goes. I'm starting to get really annoyed with KEMCO now.
• Missing Game DLC: Experience x3 - Alphadia III
• Missing Game DLC: ENP x3 - Alphadia III
• Missing Game DLC: Experience & ENP x2 - Alphadia III
• Missing Game DLC: Damage x2 - Alphadia III

I still believe this is more so GOG turning em down do to the moaning people did on mass when the first few waves hit of KEMCO games do to the DLCS that atleast make themselves clear are ''cheat''DLCs unlike Capcoms Devil may cry MTX based early unlock dlcs for everything yet basically no one bemoaned those and the '' currency '' mtx dlc that is way more annoying then some''cheat'' dlcs like here same with orher JRPG releases

Reguardless this is annoying

I'll just have to out-moan them then. I have also asked Falran to ask BizDev to see why we're not getting these DLCs.
An email I sent like 5 months ago regarding Elf Games' Children of Silentown got a response a few days ago:

"Unfortunately, all updates outside of Steam are handled by our publisher Daedalic. We are well aware that not all platforms are updated with the latest game version, but the publisher effort on that side stopped time ago.

We have more grip on the Steam version, thus is the most updated version.
Sorry for the inconvenience, our hands are tied."
Hi everyone, I was writing a comment to link the list to an user on reddit who was interested on the topic, and due to their questions it occurred while thinking of examples I realized that FEAR 3 (F3AR) is not on the list (I assumed, wrongly, that it was there).

I was wondering, do you take into account whether missing features are stated transparently on (for example) the store page of the game? FEAR 3 on GOG lacks co-op multiplayer, but there is an explicit warning about this on the store page, so I guess that's the reason why it's not been included. Is that the case? Sorry for the off-topic, just wanted to ask the people involved directly before sharing more info about the list elsewhere!
Huniepop needs to be added to this list.

Steam's version has the working 64-bit Linux binaries. GOG's version is 32-bit which increasingly has become more and more broken over time as distributions moved to 64-bit, abandoning support for 32-bit libraries, and now Wayland seems to cause issues with sound and a softlock a considerable way into the game.

Blade of Darkness never recived the latest update, I tried to contact the publisher but SNEG doesn't have a page or a discord server, just different Twitter account for every release, hope Farlan is able to contact them and solve the problem. The latest update has several improvement to the game!
