Regarding The Pegasus Expedition:

"Hello! The GOG version is the same as the others, they are always updated at the same time. The latest released patch is the August 2025 patch (there was the unity security issue fix later, but GOG version has that too)"

Dark_Odyssey1: I was looking at Blazing Chrome and I checked gogdb and steamdb to compare and it seems the GOG version might be 2 updates behind the steam version. You can't know for sure just comparing steamdb and gogdb but I don't know if that warrants adding this info to the spreadsheet.

This dev has a habit of this. One of their games on here, Odallus, is more up to date on GOG compared to itch.io, while another of their games, Oniken, is more up to date on Steam and itch.io than here. Although according to someone in the GOG forums a version of Oniken that was given away on Indiegala for a limited time is more up to date than even the Steam and itch.io version.

Any devs who do this stuff, especially smaller devs, are just shit devs.

Edit: I just realized Oniken isn't on the spreadsheet either. The GOG version is still version 1.0UE, while on itch.io and supposedly Steam (I can't confirm this personally) it's version 1.1UE. And supposedly a version given away on Indiegala was 1.2UE according to someone on the GOG forums for the game.

ERBlank: It seems to me that Blazing Chrome on GOG is only 1 update behind the Steam version, not two, if I have to judge the release dates of the updates.

I just added Oniken as well.
According to steamdb and gogdb, both steam and gog versions of Blazing Chrome had an update in August 2019. That was the last update for the gog version. The steam version had two more updates in September and October of 2019. Unless I’m looking at something incorrectly.

ERBlank: Please confirm if any of that is true. And I need to know if Alan Wake only has LATAM Spanish text, or voice + text.
Voice + Text

spokisar: Knights and Merchants - missing Czech, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Hungarian and Dutch language

Ghildrean: Voice + Text
Thank you!

There are two other games I suspect have unlisted languages on the store:

- The Guild 3 (2017): Hungarian and Russian texts.
- Star of Providence (2017): French, European Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese texts.

Removed. The entry was added in those months after August when the patch didn't seem to arrive.

Last updates for Blazing Chrome:

SteamDb: 15 October 2019
GOGDb: 4 October 2019

The only patch on SteamDb previous to 15 October is on 24 September.

That is true, but if you look at the Builds tab in GogDb, you will see that the version updated on 4 October (007A) was updated in Galaxy on 26 August 2019, so it probably does not include the September content. It seems like there was a big delay between the Galaxy update and the offline installer update.

That's at least how I understand it.
It looks like Tooth and Tail is outdated now. Lasted patch is 1.9 which was released on January 2026.
Can you add Parkitect to the list? All the community made rides are all tied to the Steam Workshop (see the reviews for proof)
ASPYR never updates their GOG store entries on time like they do with steam.

Mistake on my part. I updated the list.

(like, what are the languages we should check for?)

Cavalary: What it says on the list.
Like for Dead Synchronicity says missing Polish text. Dungeon Town, missing Japanese. And so on.
Yeah well often those games don't ship with the Japanese language because they aren't allowed to. They're localizations. The whole point is that they've been localized. The developers want you to buy the original Japanese versions from Japanese stores. Hope this helps.

I can't believe people are asking for JP language on localized games. That's almost a complete "never gonna happen" with the localization industry. The whole point of them being here is that they have been localized for the west. And usually other countries have to make their own fan translations later, as it has always been. If you want Dungeon Town in Japanese you'll have to buy it from DLSite, for example. And I don't believe Frontwing is giving the Japanese language version for Hollow. That's a game from Jast USA and I already know what the response to that will be. You guys never fail to surprise me.

Also there's a very good legal reason for this. You see, these games feature no mosaics. Well, that's illegal in Japan. As in, you can be prosecuted for it. So when you add a Japanese language to game that has had it's mosaics removed for the west in order to give Japanese players a chance to buy the game uncensored, it's a criminal act. Mostly these games can't be purchased by Japanese users for that reason.

You must confuse this thread with another. This is the secnod class thread - meaning that there is already a store that sells these games with all these languages included. The law in that has nothing to do with it if you can get the same product with all languages included on another store ... if this would not be the case it would not be second class and it would not belong into this thread anyway.

GOGDB:

Version: 1.0.3 Date: 2023-09-12

SteamDB:

Version: ? Date: September 16, 2023

Version: ? Date: September 14, 2023

Version: ? Date: September 13, 2023

Judging by the date, the GOG version is not up to date.

Too bad, I was just about to buy it.

You're right. If it is available at another store that makes sense. I thought the user was asking for it to be available or asking why it wasn't. I didn't know another store had it available for the same localized version.

Regarding Thea: The Awakening (from MuHa Games' Discord):

"Hi, sorry for the late reply, I read your question when I was busy then forgot entirely! I am checking the language, as I could swear we did update the build. As for the coffee for coding, that is a steam expulsive I am afraid. But it only adds cards as artwork for your personal use, nothing in game."

"As I suspected, yes the language update is on GOG, but they didn't update the page with the extra languages, we tried to make the change on our end, so hopefully the language selection should be updated soon"

Yeah, GOG got Patch 2 for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered around 6 months after Steam.
