PixelBoy: I think I found another one.

Arkanoid - Eternal Battle seems to be missing a DLC called Space Scout Pack.

It's basically just an overpriced skin, but it's available elsewhere, and not on GOG. It's a bit weird, because GOG does have the Taito Legacy DLC, so why would that other DLC be missing? No idea why, but that seems to be the case.
This reminds me that only on GOG the final boss of Retro mode is unbeatable due to a bug. I tried to report it to Microids a while ago, but they didn't believe me and wanted a video of the bug. At that point I gave up, because there's no way I'm going to do everything all over again for the third or fourth time to test their damned bug.
Spellcaster University has been naughty again and should be sent to detention. Latest version on GOG is 1.04 from 2023, latest version on Steam is 1.06 from November 2025 (including Unity security update).

I would not even bother with Microids - would be the first time that they'd fix a reported bug. I reported several in Syberia 3 and they did not fix a single one of them. Microids might be okay when it comes to the question if they releae a game on GOG or not - since they often really do - but not when it comes to support.

mrkgnao: Well, for what it's worth, there's this thread:
https://www.gog.com/forum/stray_gods_the_roleplaying_musical/dlc_not_playable_without_galaxy
I didn't create it, but I have reported the issue in another thread, and have been following the ensuing changelessness.
I guess it was worth it after all, as the game has been updated and the issue is now fixed.

I knew someone would be faster than me :D
Just came here to confirm this as well and I even deactivated the Galaxy services before testing. Great news.

1.05 (36.639) GOG
The GOG version is up to date. It's the same version except the Epic build has a different numbering at the end, specific to the Epic version.

The Steam version's last patch dates back to 2018, while the GOG version dates back to 2020. The Epic version was released recently. That's why the numbering is different.

https://steamdb.info/app/355790/patchnotes/

1.05 36.651 = 1.05 36.639 no difference,no bug fix .identical patch

Many games don't have the same patch numbers across Steam, GOG, and Epic.

To identify them, you need to compare the release date of the latest Steam version with the release date of the latest GOG version.

For example, Sniper Warrior Contract 1. The Steam version is 1.09, and the GOG version is 1.08. However, both patches were released simultaneously, and the patch notes listed on GOG for version 1.08 are the same as those for version 1.09 on Steam. Therefore, you should compare the release date, not the patch numbers.

What a mess tho. I don't blame the guy for not knowing this
Blade Warrior is missing the Manual.
https://www.gog.com/en/game/blade_warrior

I don't know if this counts, but, on Steam, you can access the manual in the game's storepage for free.

I don't blame him either. I just want him to do a little more research, especially comparing the update dates between Steam and GOG, to be sure and avoid mistakes. That's why I explained it to him.

This is the safest method to avoid mistakes. You should never rely on the numbering, as it's often different between Steam, Epic, and GOG builds. The safest approach is to compare the update dates with steam.

VanishedOne: According to IsThereAnyDeal, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales has an artbook DLC (The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales - Digital Artbook) that's sold only on Steam.
Both DLCs are now on GOG.
