Edward_Carnby: Are you sure ?

GOG version is 1.112 not 1.1.2.
It's from january 2022.
I got a confirmation from the dev that the gog version is up to date.

In fact, after installing the game, you can see version 1.1.5 in the lower right corner so it's at the same level as the Steam version and it's just the offline installer name that is slightly misleading.

Good news !

Interesting, a lot of those aren't available in my region on steam either. How many DLCs does the DL store page show for you? Mine shows 37.

Thanks! Those outfits not on the steam page require signing up at the sponsor's sites.

Actually it is. It's something, you get on other platforms, but not here.

But it's hard to verify if region locks or time exclusives are involved as well, or DLCs that require you to own another game.
gogdb shows no ID for these DLCs however.

The GOG page for Dying Light: Enhanced Edition mentions that Be the Zombie Mode and Ultimate Survivor Bundle (which includes Buzz Killer Weapon Pack, Night Club Weapon Pack, The Lacerator Weapon Pack, The Constable Weapon Pack, Ninja Outfit, Urban Explorer Outfit and Special Agent Outfit) are included.

Also, Punk Queen Weapon Pack, Wrench Kiss Weapon Pack and both Custom Maps 1 and 2 should also be included with the base game, but since I don't own the game can't check if true.

None of those are listed for purchase on Steam in any region, but you can find them here: https://steamdb.info/app/239140/dlc/.

This is good to know. That leaves 8 more DLCs. I tried to poke a little on their wiki:

Razer Outfit
Code on Razer website, after signing up. On Steam, you must go to Activate a Product under the Games menu of your Steam account, and submit the received code to get the outfit.
Alienware Outfit
Code on Alienware website, after signing up. You are able to get the outfit after receiving an email notification about the outfit.
Techland Outfit
Dying Light Digital Deluxe Edition
Nvidia Outfit
Code on Nvidia website, after signing up.
Harran Military Rifle
Apparently, this is exclusive for owners of Techland account, together with Ye Olde Trusty, NEON Storm, and Some Old Bones. (source)
Razer Nabu Outfit
Not mentioned. Probably comes bundled with just Razer Outfit.
CD-Action Anniversary Pack
Not mentioned.
Outfit and Livery 1
Not mentioned.

We do have the Harran Military Rifle DLC on GOG, you just can't get a key for it after Gemly shut down, but that (dockets excluded) also affected Steam the same way. If you can get your hands on a key it should still work, I just redeemed mine when the platinum edition came out. Would be nice if they made it freely available now.

Fonzer: Majesty Gold HD
Apparently got update with modding support on Steam, but never on GOG.

It actually did get an update with modding support on gog just when the gogmixes were removed, weird isn't it?

Patch 1.5.2.28 (09 October 2018)
Changes Include:

DirectX 9 is used as the default graphics API. This makes Majesty much more compatible with newer versions of Windows.

Modding support, including an SDK for making new Quests and modifying the functionality of existing Quests and Freestyle games.

Basic Multiplayer using GoG Galaxy is supported.

Mouse edge locking in Windowed mode.

Middle Mouse button drags the map

Many bug fixes.

The GoG installer has been updated to auto-install the needed Microsoft runtime files, but if you having issues and the game will now not start anymore, you can try uninstalling it and re-installing it or manually install the Microsoft runtime files from these links.

Visual Studio 2008 Redistributable SP1 www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5582

DirectX End User Runtimes June 2010 www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

If for some reason, you are having issues with DirectX 9 or you just want to switch back to the older DirectDraw API, you can change back by going to the Settings page in game or by editing MajXPrefs in your My Documents/My Games/MajestyHD directory with Notepad and changing the value from 1 to 0. Please note that on Windows 10, DirectDraw is an optional install and must be added with the Windows Settings panel.

The older DirectPlay Networking interface has also been disabled as that is also not enabled by default with Windows 10. If you need to have that re-enabled, edit MajXPrefs as described above and change the tag to 1

The new install provides an SDK for modding, with some documentation on how to get started. The SDK is located in the same directory where GoG installs your games, usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Majesty Gold HD

If for some reason you are really having no luck running the new version, the old version is also located in the same directory where GOG installs your games, usually C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Majesty Gold HD. There will be an executable named MajestyHD - Old.exe.

If you are having issues with the new version, please post with as much information as you can, such as what OS you are running and what graphics card.
Note that since GoG doesn't have a Mod delivery system yet, you will have to manually place any mods in your game's user folder. ex. My Documents\My Games\MajestyHD\Mods
I don't know where to ask this. I'm new to gog and just bought a game last night. The download speed is pathetic and I mean BAD!! Not even 500 kb/s. The game is in 19 parts each 4 gigs, At not even 500 kb/s this will take me weeks to download. Is gog really that bad????

Some people have reported problems that appear to be region-specific: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/unable_to_download_new_games_from_gog
According to SteamDB and GOG DB, Steam version of Blair Witch received an update in July 2020, after the last update in December 2019 which is still the latest update available on GOG. I couldn't find any information on the update but according to developers' comments in the Steam forums earlier that month, they were working on fixing bugs (so it's probably nothing Steam-specific).

Also according to those two sites, APE OUT has been missing updates on GOG since 2019, with one 2019 and multiple 2022 updates being exclusive to Steam. It's also missing a macOS build.

Firewatch received updates in December 2021 which were only released on Steam.
