Never heard of this site. Is it trustworthy? I do not see any sources linked in their article. It is up on Steam already though.

Interesting that they made the character model look more like the old pre-rendered promo shots they used for Lara for those games.

Still hoping that the other 2 games from the re-reboot trilogy (Rise & Shadows) will come here someday.
Oh, awesome - these remasters give you the option of using a more modern control scheme, as opposed to the clunky grid-based one from the originals. That makes these seem much more like Tomb Raider Anniversary, which is still overwhelmingly my favorite in the series.

Super exciting stuff, though... yeah, would be nice to finally get Rise and Shadow here, too.

Worthplaying has been around for a long time. I remember during the PS2/OG Xbox days, they usually were the ones reporting on certain games also being released on PC, while other sites only mentioned console versions.
So yeah, they're trustworthy.

As for there being a Steam page already, well that's usually the norm. The majority of games only get a GOG page close to release.

Thanks! Too bad Aspyr or whoever won't put the gog logo on promo material, but at least the collection is actually coming.

And as other users have echoed, hopefully C.D. will give us Rise and Shadow in the not too far future. I won't get my hopes up of course, but a small part of me could see them coming even before the remastered collection.

Awesome!

I'm definately interested in this remaster. Finally someone did it! I think it has been long overdue. About time these classics were shown the respesct they deserve I think. Now we just need the rest of the games from the first generation, at least. :P

Also... what about the Legacy of Kain games?! Another classic series that's in serious need of a proper remaster.

Anyway, thanks for sharing mate!

I discussed this with some of the higher ups at CD a while back (we're talking like... 3-4 years at this point), and they were actually very gung-ho about doing that and it was largely a question of timing. Tomb Raider's obviously the bigger franchise, but this remastered trilogy suggests to me that they might finally do the same with Legacy of Kain.

This is what creator of platformer Ugly has to say regarding gog release:

"We definitely are interested in releasing on GOG, so we'll see what happens"
The Ukrainian developer Flatcoon pulled his turn-based pirate game Sink Again from Steam over a year ago (due to issues surrounding the war) and said in forums he planned to immediately take it to GOG. Never heard anything since.

Huh, interesting. Thanks for sharing mate!

I would seriously love that! I like both franchises, but to me the Legacy of Kain games were always much more special.
Also, sorry for the late reply.. hehe.
