SargonAelther: You can say that I'm reading too much into this, but this video seems to imply that Digimon World is already out on GOG LOL.
Maybe they released the video too early?
If thats not a mistake in implying its coming to Gog I will indeed be getting it on release as I have been wanting to play a digimon game thats older then what Steam has last I checked

The main trigger for me is:
"What's the NEXT game you want us to bring back?"
What do you mean next? Is Digimon World out already? If not, then it's like saying:
"We did nothing. Tell us what you'd like us to do next."
Didn't know that digimon had a pc release. is it a good game?

Only in South Korea.

Another video dropped for Digimon World, same VO but different footage:

It would be a bit silly of GOG to promote the Dreamlist using a game that won't get released here, no?

Seems like a considerable effort to not have it amount to an eventual re-release, tomorrow around 11-12am (6-7pm JST) maybe?

Not my kind of RPG, but looking forward to have another big Japanese publisher join with a title from their back catalogue.

I'd say if we get a big release like that its the 10th or a day after given the 10th is when the summer sale ends atleast on my end .. So there is that.. And if it does come here it'll be interesting especially if its the pc port that from what I found seems only South Korea got for some legal reasons O won't get into .. But ya it'd be interesting in that way as it'd mean Gog would need to add English translations and that'd open the way for more pc releases of games the west either never got or just had the console versions of for so long.. on the flipside if its a console game with a emulation wrapper to it.. that'd also be interesting as it'd also open the doors for more games to come to gog that either never had a pc port or only had support for specific dialects on console.. But ya iether way it'd be interesting.. for me though I'd kinda prefer the pc version matter getting translated as it'd open the gate to loads of other games to show up in the west we never officially got

Lol, yeah... that pretty much confirms it.

Which is cool, at some level. Personally, I have -zero- interest in Digimon, but having Bandai Namco here is a big, big win. Yes, we have Little Nightmares, but that's a Bandai-Namco Europe joint, so... it doesn't really count.

So, maybe it's Digimon for now, but hopefully it'll be Dark Souls, Tales of Berseria, Armored Core VI, etc. before long.
Maybe they or Bandai Namco are waiting for 50k votes on Dreamlist, you know how it looks good.

Well, it looks like they hit 50k, so maybe tomorrow is the day. More realistically Thursday, though.

But I do hope it’s more Bamco stuff than just Digimon.

The GOGBear is a strange type of bear, one that seems to be hibernating during the summer. Due to this oddness, the fish nets are uncharacteristically empty as of late.

One worthy mention is that an old detection seems to have been showing signs of revival, namely Culpa Innata. Perhaps we are close to a release.

Having Bamco on board should be huge for me, but just like my disappointment with the likes of Squeenix, Capcom & Sega... there are just so many Japanese developed games I would buy in a heartbeat, and almost none of them ended up here...

Not really confirmed neither vague signs, so not really sure where to post this, but...
The Necromancer's Tale might get a GOG release soon, according to a message from the dev on the other store's forums.
"Thanks! We're hearing this from quite a few people so will look into it soon!"

Well we know that Tris is reading this thread (Hi Tris), so she may have plugged whatever hole that was leaking information.

It's available on Zoom, so a GOG release would not be surprising.
