cyboff: FYI: CRAWL is officially confirmed: http://www.gog.com/game/crawl
It's funny how your post is number 777 in this thread with all this numerology stuff going on:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gogs_lucky_777th_game/post18

Maybe this game brings good luck to GOG after all... and bad luck to DRM :)

Crawl is going to be an awesome game, I can personally guarantee it :D

(Played an early build with three other GOG staffers... was quite fun :D )

Is this similar to Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery?

Ummmm no.

Think more like Gauntlet without the massive numbers mixed with a slight dash of bullet hell but Touhou levels of bullet hell all thrown together into a procedural death labyrinth :D

Ah, ok. Never heard of Gauntlet but the visuals made me remember Sword and Sorcery. So nothing for me then :(

What the hell, you never heard of Gauntlet??? It's one of the most influential arcade games ever:

I was born in that year - how could I ever heard about it and we only got first C64s and Ataris after 1991 in to the country.

And if you are interested a new improved version of Gauntlet will be released on Steam in september (unfortunately steam exclusive): http://store.steampowered.com/app/258970/

I just got a response back from the official Z Facebook. I originally messaged them back in May as to if Z would come out, but they didn't respond until now to tell me it's been out a while. I told them I bought it soon after it's GOG release.

They responded back quickly with the following:

"Ah great :) Steel Soldiers should be hitting GOG in the next week. We are looking at fixing some issues reported by players on the Steam version and will push the game on to GOG with those fixes included :)"

Good news!
To be honest I wasn't even going out of my way to ask them about it. I just ended my initial response to the original Z news that I was anticipating the sequel's release. They then spilled the beans.

My guess is that second hint that's still tentative that Judas dropped the other week is in regards to Steel Soldiers. They must've realized the Steam version needed a little work, and they didn't want to repeat it with the issues the first one had at first with controls and more. Let Steam enjoy it for now. I'll be patient and get the better version :)

New? Yes. Improved? That remains to be seen. Unfortunately, a lot of developers don't really comprehend what makes an arcade experience good, since a lot of them have a background in more cerebral games. This is precisely why a lot of platformers nowadays are puzzle platformers as opposed to the more arcadey conventional platformers.

DAYUM I just noticed that Crawl isn't expected for release until next year :(

Another game I happened to swing by that is officially expected for gog.com is Dark Matter. I say officially because their site's 'buy it' section even has a gog.com link ready to go.
Edit: woops never mind! I see the game came here for a short moment and had to be removed for some reason or another.

It was released unfinished, got pulled shortly thereafter and never came back.
