They didn't say "from the start" or did they?

The Earthlock backers could also choose between Steam and DRM free... the Steam backers are served since September 27th and the DRM free backers are still waiting. :|

I mean, I usually don't even follow anything to do with GOG sales, and I'm the one who has to point it out? C'mon guys.

It did, especially the fact that their Steam-only version was leaked even before release. At the time they said something to the effect that they'll have to consider better "protection" for their games. I was fully convinced they'll go the Denuvo route for the third one.

Maybe it'll be Denuvo-DRMed upon release, DRM-free a couple of months down the road.
