rodrolliv: I would move Memoria to the secondary list, given that the game is already out but not here, and that trailer is the only one mentioning GOG. Later videos only mention Steam.

SLP2000: I'm sure they will release it on GOG sooner or later, all their games are here. Will move it to the socondary list if we won't see this in a month.

A new game made by someone who worked on the Lords of Midnight remake is in development.

In conversation with one of the dev's they're trying to get it onto GOG if they can.

I originally learned about the game through a post on the Lords of Midnight Facebook:

Legions of Ashworld
Legions of Ashworld is a turn based strategy wargame with elements of role playing games. The game is set in a vast fantasy world where the player gathers an alliance of armies and lead them against the enemy. The game is currently in development for PC Windows with Mac OS X and Linux versions follo...

I'm hoping for the best :)
Does anyone have any idea what Amiga games could possibly come to GOG in the future? Since The Chaos Engine was added, I have hope for others, but I'd like an idea of at least a few titles, of the hundreds out there.
Well, someone claiming to be Harlan Ellison says that I Have No Mouth is coming to back by way of Night Dive. Working on source.

Phaidox: Stop the press! "<span class="bold">Next Car Game</span>", currently in development at BugBear (the creators of FlatOut), might make it to GOG eventually.

"So none of this is in any way final, but we're going for the following:
1) Release on Steam. Many of us love Steam. However, that is plain not up to us as we need to clear Greenlight first, which is not a given.
2) Don't depend on Steam. We want to be able to sell the game directly and through other distributors, as well (Good Old Games and the like)."

"We fully intend to be on all the major digital distribution channels."
ooh I just today finished FlatOut Ultimate Carnage and signed up for the beta of the F2P Ridgeracer thing they did (haven't heard back yet) so I'm looking forward to this!

Looking up a little Wikipedia info on that title it seems pretty interesting, albeit dark (nothing wrong with that).

Hopefully it can come back from being a dodo and become a "wowow" :D (hey, I thought it was funny)

I played my housemates copy for a bit about 15 years ago, I liked it, it was dark and cool
But apparently it pulls some unfair bullshit on you later making the 'good' ending really hard to get and leaving you in unwinable states etc.
Still be awesome to get it here!

It's a very hard game, in part because the usual "adventure game logic" often won't be enough to get the best outcomes. A lot of what goes on in the game is heavily symbolic (each character has to pass through a "private hell"), and to find the best solutions, you have to think about not only what actions you can take, but what those actions represent. This can lead to some "How the hell was I supposed to know that?" moments, and I can understand why some people would call bullshit on it, but personally I'm a huge fan and would love to see the game here.

(At least the difficulty is thematically appropriate, given how soul-twistingly bleak the game is.)

Harlan Ellison definitely said that Night Dive has IHNMAIMS*, but he never mentioned GOG as far as I know; people seem to be assuming that, since we got System Shock 2.

Any time Harlan opens his mouth, you can assume it's to scream about how he'll hunt down all pirates. It's kind of his "thing".

I thought I heard, though, that one of the things you need to do to get the best ending was play the characters in a certain order with no real way of knowing what it should be, am I mis-remembering?
Yeah I remember some actions added karma and some reduced it and in one case early on a reduce karma action was the only one that seemed to possibly exist...
The game is very cool still though, I play it over anything by Sierra any day!

As I said before on another thread, the Night Dive's count down being suspended seemed to coincide with GOG doing a new indie rather than a classic release on Tuesday and it seemed like they might have had to do some last minute swapping around...

John Passfield has mentioned on Twitter that he'll have some news about Flight of the Amazon Queen in a few weeks. Maybe the GOG version will be some special edition (since it's already been out on DotEmu and all).

Hardly any kind of confirmation, but in response to a Facebook post asking for the Kyrandia games, GOG replied, "Be patient my friend... (ambiguous ellipsis)"

I saw that and was interested! :) But of course we need to maintain healthy skepticism about that.
Sorry guys, I posted this in the old thread instead of this one (part 2).

Also posted in a game-specific thread but repeating here:

Cognition developer Phoenix Online has confirmed that the full season for the game (episodes 1-4) will be released on GOG on September 19.

Trailer on Youtube.
