Yes, it's supposed to take inspiration from the Tenchu series. I hope it's good, but i'm cautious.

Tenchu? (wiggles ears) Loved that to bits on PlayStation.
Next to Lemmings, that's probably my most wanted game to get an update and appear on GOG.
Any news about the release on GOG of:
- Battle Chasers: Nightwar
- Aragami [confirmed release]
- Furi
- Son of Nor
- Soul Saga ["very high possibility" - developer on kickstarter comment]
- Below
- Hyper Light Drifter [already out]

*I'm sorry this post is not meant as a derail of this thread just wanted to share something I just found.*

I'm happy to know this game might come here. I just saw Jesse Cox covering it at E3 and searched for it on Google. I found a movie with that name and assumed the game was based on it. But when you posted this I went back and checked more info on that movie. I'm not so sure the game is based on it anymore but found out about the cool premise on which this movie has been filmed. From wikipedia:

"Aragami is a 2003 Japanese action film directed by Ryuhei Kitamura. It was Kitamura's contribution to the Duel Project, a challenge issued by producer Shinya Kawai to him and fellow director Yukihiko Tsutsumi to film a feature-length movie with only two actors, battling in one setting, in only the time frame of one week.

Plot

Two seriously wounded samurai find refuge from a storm at an isolated temple, the home of a swordsman and a mysterious young woman.

One samurai awakes to find that not only has his comrade died, but that his wounds have miraculously healed. He discovers that he has been given the power of immortality by the swordsman, a man once known as the legendary Miyamoto Musashi, who now lives an endless existence as Aragami, a "god of battle"."

The other movie looks interesting too.

"2LDK is a 2003 Japanese film, directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi as part of the Duel Project, starring Maho Nonami and Eiko Koike.

Two ambitious actresses, who share an apartment, learn they have been short-listed for the same part and that they have to wait for one more night to see who wins the part. As they bicker throughout the night, their competitiveness and hidden grudges turn their apartment into a battlefield."

So for Asian movie buffs it's two movies to maybe keep a look out for. If anyone has seen any of these movie and liked or hated them please PM me, I'm curious to know if they're worth looking for. Sorry for the temporary derail. Thanks again pe7ouill3 for the info about it possibly coming here.

metricfun: Aragami is a 2003 Japanese action film...
This got aired a few times here in Oz. It was one of those movies that felt like it would have made a great 20 minute episode of Twilight Zone or Amazing Stories or what have you. Taking that exact same content and then stretching it out for a full feature was not a good idea.

As for the game, looks like it is a proper commercial remake of the Path of Shadows which you can get for free from that link. I tried it, and while it looked amazing (as in the actual look of it, gfx and such) the game in the game seemed pretty.. well, not so great. Here's hoping the final product has more game in there. If reviews etc paint this one well, it will jump right to the top of my wishlist. For now, its more a wait with caution title.

Thanks for the info on the movie. As for the game, when I searched for it, it was to get a link for my "keep it bookmarked to remember it exists" list. I will too check upcoming info / reviews on it. E3 is rarely a good point at which to judge a game by, but it did look interesting.

I can't be bothered to retreive my own post, but the soul saga dev already said in a KS comment that the negociations with GOG were going good about that game.

EDIT : And then I've done it :

EDIT 2 : You can forget about son of nor. the devs don't care about their drm-free promises. Multiplayer outside of steam is teh hard...

Isn't GOG such a great company? Not only are they providing free games every now and then, and great deals, but they also have tech support for games that aren't even in their catalog!

With just the right guessing of the exact URL, you too can find support articles for games that aren't on GOG... yet?
I was wondering when GOG would finally start selling TRON 2.0. :) It's been exclusive to Steam for almost two years now. That means I'll have to (if needed) update the Killer App Mod to support the GOG release.

I might have some extra bonus goodies I could send GOG's way. Wallpapers, video clips, music, and the like. (Depending on what Disney provides GOG with.)

Aragami (game) previous name was Twin Souls: The Path of Shadows

Since I'm here and I'm talking about indie games, I wish these that are already out would come to GOG Connect:
