There's at least a bit of overlap with titles such as Foregone or Mortal Shell which are to be released on GoG next year too, though.
But yeah, developers or publishers might not bother to release proper DRM-free versions (including offline backup installers) of their games further down the road, if this client bollocks continues and is expanded with integrating other storefronts as well.
Fingers crossed that other storefronts will give GoG the appropriate two thumbs down to this.

Still boggles my mind to see Konami here. They're off to a good start, but I'm hoping we'll also get some of the more recent releases (namely, Metal Gear Rising and Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner.)

But it's October and we got Silent Hill 4, which is a good start. But isn't that kinda all the more reason why we should totally get Resident Evil here, finally? Would be nice anyway.
