Felix the Reaper (release 2019-10-17, late European afternoon):
Make sure people die, while you dance through the shadows in an attempt to meet the enchanting Betty The Maiden. Felix The Reaper is a 3D adventure game/shadow puzzler, in which your job is to make sure people die by solving death puzzles.
Felix is Death, or rather he is one reaper among many, working at The Ministry of Death. In the game you play your way through the death plans of five humans.
Felix is in love and by being an active agent in the human realm Felix strives to localise Betty The Maiden, who works at The Ministry of Life. He wants to ask her out for a dance.
The Dance of Felix The Reaper
The animations of Death are developed by professional dancers. We've done an extensive dance workshop, which has been video recorded. Since then the animators have been working round the clock to translate it into dance moves for Felix.
The Music of Felix The Reaper
Other than having to abide by the rules of The Ministry of Death, then Felix has a personal rule: alway dance. Just dance!
On Felix's walkman you can skip through an array of newly written death dance music by an array of talented indie artists. It's all on his favourite dynamic webpage
The Art of Death in Felix The Reaper
Felix The Reaper is an interpretation of the cultural art history of Death. In which motifs such as Danse Macabre, The Dancing Death and Deaht and the Maiden are recurring central motifs.
The game is developed with historians, who also writes a biography - The Life of Death - that is partially a book and partially integrated into the game as human history briefs from the ministry to Felix.
