Very, cool.

Still being updated since it's early access, but it looks super fun.

I'm not sure I like the focus on action. The game works better as psychological horror, IMO.

Still glad to see it on GOG.

It still features plenty of that though. I do understand that the change in pacing may not be everyone's cup of tea but personally i think it was a very atmospheric, very fitting conclusion to the Heavenly Host arc.

Everspace 2 kickstarter campaign (is on now) promises GOG release and not to be EGS exclusive:

Source: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rockfishgames/everspace-2/faqs
Okay, so it’s coming to Steam. What about GOG?

This time, GOG is planned at the release of the full version.

-

Will this be an Epic Store Exclusive? If not, how can we be sure that the Kickstarter won't be bought out?

Simple answer: No EGS exclusive.

Long answer: We already announced that Everspace 2 will launch on Steam Early Access September 2020 and not anywhere else. We're aware that other devs have changed their minds, so consider this: Valve and Steam are equally important partners to us, so there’s no good reason for us to become exclusive. Furthermore, we have just enough padding to deliver on our promise. With your support, we plan on delivering even more.

Update: We read on the internet that a few PC gamers are still concerned, so we are doubling-down on our promise that Everspace 2 with this official interview https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-09-09-rockfish-interview-everspace-2

Chernobylite is getting an in-dev release on GOG on October 16:

And why is IGN saying that GOG (GOG in the article, Good Old Games in the video) is getting Red Dead Redemption 2? There's no way that can be true unless GOG is implementing DRM, can it?

Might be laziness on their part of just collating the launchers and rattling them off in the article without fact-checking before publishing it.

Because there's no shelter on earth for GOG that would stop the swath of destruction laid out by the shit tornado if that were to come to pass.
