The monster taming and breeding game Crowns is coming to GOG by February 15, according to this tweet:

The Rogue Legacy devs' new game Full Metal Furies should come to GOG once the game is stabilized and they implement GOG's networking:

Rune: Ragnarok will initially launch only on Steam, but the devs are open to bringing it to GOG:

Lucian_Galca: Damn, really wish it were Fear Effect, but I know that's not happening given Square Enix hasn't released anything here in awhile. :(

muntdefems: Well, Goetia happens to be published by Squeenix as well, so don't lose your faith! :)
lol, it's frustrating, because it feels like a test case for a game people might actually want... but Goetia looks so fucking lame. I can't support that.

Info from the devs:

About Close Combat series:

Thanks for all the feedback guys. The GoG team had to go back to old retail masters and try and make them windows compatible as the source code for the original 5 games was lost many years ago before we acquired it.

They managed to get 2-4 working but are having issues with 1 and 5. We hope they'll be able to resolve them and add them to the list too at some point. Then there's the other 5 games we released. We don't have a firm date for when any of these will be available.

So we might get 1 and 5 part of the series if GOG will resolve problems.

Did you know we're working on a sequel to that with the original team from SSI ;)

This was answer about Steel Panthers series. :)

We'll have more games on GoG soon but they need to be selective to avoid overloading you! We have 300 strategy and wargames in our line up and release ~3 new releases a month.

So, looks like there will be many more releases of classic and new strategy games! :)

New company in the catalog: Experiment 101 for Biomutant (company has been acquired by Nordic in November 2017)

The martial arts style combat system allows you maximum freedom of movement and agility while mixing shooting, melee and powers from your mutations. Acquiring new Wushu combat styles through progression, and learning from masters you’ll meet, constantly adds to your choices and makes sure combat never gets old.

A plague is ruining the land and the Tree-of-Life is bleeding death from its roots. The Tribes stand divided, in need of someone strong enough to unite them or bring them all down…

According to Geralt_of_Rivia, "Even though GOG isn't explicitly mentioned I remember someone asking Piko if the released games will also come to GOG and they answered: Yes." (which may have already been shared in this thread)

Of main importance I think is the list of IP and devs/pubs:

"We acquired these titles from a large known publisher who over the years of operation, they themselves acquired many smaller developers that eventually closed shop. The titles included in this new catalog have mainly original IPs from the following developers:
Infogrames
Ocean Software
Legend Entertainment
Beam Software
Accolade
Hasbro Interactive
GT Interactive
Microprose/Spectrum Holobyte
"

Judging by the companies mentioned, the publisher in question is either Atari or Tommo (or it could be both, who knows).

Strange that Tommo or Atari wouldn't put them up themselves though!

Maybe they don't consider the games particularly profitable (neither company has bothered releasing an old game for quite some time).

After Piko acquired all those titles, I wonder if Atari has anything left to release here. Tommo's acquisitions are now all published here under the Retroism label (except Eradicator, but that's probably just an oversight on GOG's part, since it's published by Retroism on Steam).

Atari Vault and a few other games (911: First Responders, Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic, Yar's Revenge, etc.)

I know. However, Retroism isn't only limited to Tommo stuff, as evident of them publishing games from Enlight and bringing the Neptunia series here. They haven't released a Tommo game on Steam (where they are the most active) ever since last February.

Mechwarrior 5, Rune Ragnarok, Biomutant - some nice games to wait for!
