Now ALL SNK games available on other stores have arrived, correct?

Next oldies incoming should be the Dynamix combo "Rise of the Dragon" / "Heart of China"...

New company in the catalog: Neckbolt for
Yono and the Celestial Elephants - release this Thursday, October 12:

Elephants are a mighty protectors of the world, born from the stars once per millennium. This is the age of Elephant Yono. But Yono is still so very young and in a kingdom inhabited by feudal Humans, undead Bonewights and robotic Mekani, it’s not easy to keep one’s trunk out of trouble.

Yono and the Celestial Elephant is a grand adventure, featuring carefully designed puzzles, treasure hunts, a sprinkling combat and a world full of people. Play as a young elephant tasked to save a world he’s never seen before, and explore the rich history of a kingdom where humans, zombies and robots live side by side.

Features

Use your elephant trunk to solve puzzles and find secrets. Load it up with air, water and other things for different effects.
Visit 4 towns full of people, shops and side-quests.
Solve 3 deep dungeons of puzzles, monsters and finally a scary boss.
Explore forests and caves to find treasures and upgrades.
Discuss ascetic virtue ethics with the undead, existentialism and freedom of will with the robots, and political philosophy and the roots of power and authority with the humans.
Piece together ancient texts to uncover the history of the world, the development of humankind and the influence of past Elephants.
Play the game in the original English, or try it out in Swedish, French, German or Spanish.

About the development
Yono was developed by one person, Niklas Hallin over the course of two years give or take. Part of the development time was spent in Stugan, a game developer accelerator program deep in the forests of Sweden. The whole project was funded with money saved up while working as a game art freelancer for a few years, and by living cheaply.

tfishell: Not anything close to unofficial confirmation but somebody might like this and, mainly, I didn't know where else to share.

Tim Sweeney liked my tweet about Jazz Jackrabbit and other Epic classics. I had twitted at him a few times in the past but this was the first time he liked it.

Nice! However, I don't want to be that guy, but it's probably best to keep your expectations in check. I had this exact same thing happen to me on Twitter over a year ago. It'd be cool to see Epic's back catalog here, but this is probably just the devs recognizing there are still people out there who appreciate their old games.

*Edit: But man, this is one situation where I would love to be wrong. One of the reasons I joined GOG was in the hopes I could pick up some of Epic's older stuff. :D

That's interesting, because I regularly check a couple of "abandonware" sites that are very good at telling you if and where you can buy the games, and removing the download if necessary, and within the last couple of weeks the download links for Jazz Jackrabbit have been taken offline and changed to "protected download". There may be hope yet, but I'll only go as far as interesting.

Like all of these old games, all we can do is be patient, it might take 10 years, it might take 20, but hopefully, eventually, they will make it onto GOG.
