Gurlok: That's interesting...but are you sure about batman AK? That's kinda odd...that would make other WB games ready to potentially remove denuvo, but I think AK is still a special case, considering that the port was terrible...
RWarehall: Going back to the source...
"11/12: Batman Arkham Knight Re-Release (28th october 2015 updated version with all DLCs), The Climb VR removed Denuvo before it was cracked."
They put this on the same line as The Climb VR, but doing a little research, looks like Batman AK was re-cracked on that date, not removed. My bad. Someone posted it wrong and left out the "was re-cracked" part. False hope I guess.
I see, kinda sad to hear that but I was skeptical anyway. I highly doubt EA, Ubisoft and WB would remove that shit out of their games even after being cracked. I can
somewhat bear with steam as for certain games (being a huge fan of jrpg and japanese stuff, which sadly GOG lacks in its store) so I usually purchase them there, not until knowing what kind of protection they use, obviously (man, the God Eater + denuvo was a big letdown :/ ).
RWarehall: I was reading elsewhere that apparently what is happening with the removals is that Denuvo promises 3 months before a game gets cracked else the game company can opt out and get refunded (or partially refunded) for the service.
Supposedly the Batman Arkham Knight Re-release and The Climb VR also removed it on the 11th.
BKGaming: There is no actual proof to this. Somebody posted this on Reddit, claiming to be a dev and the MSM kind of just went with the story. Said posters history doesn't support him or her actually being a developer though.
I see, I don't get the reason behind this user whatsover :/
