JudasIscariot: I don't know about Agarest but I know Durante's fixes are usually a couple of DLL files that need to be placed into a particular directory along with some ini files.

I used his fix for the GOG version of Deadly Premonition so if he has the same kind of "fix" for Agarest then everything should work :) No guarantees though as I have no idea what the Agarest fix actually entails :)

omega64: The following is from memory:
Supersampling and a turbo button for combat.
Which is great as the combat is SO slow.
Like I said before as long as the fix for Agarest follows Durante's usual pattern you should be good but that will all come out once the game is released here :)
Ima just gonna leave this here...

Hint: it's the upcoming Double Dragon Trilogy :D

Well, I certainly didn't expect that...

I just hope that DotEmu doesn't mess it up.
SURPRISE :P

Iain: I still have Double Dragon 3 : The Rosetta Stone on the Amstrad CPC464, it is a double pack with Rodland and also has the Spectrum versions with it.

Can't wait for this true classic release.
I played the original arcade version of the first Double Dragon and the NES versions of Double Dragon 1-3 so I can't wait either :D

Iain: The 8 bit versions were a bit hit and miss I must admit, there are 2 versions on C64, one from Melbourne House and Ocean also converted it, neither are that good in all honesty.

Amiga version of Double Dragon 2 is excellent. The Amstrad Version of DD3 is very playable musty admit albeit monochrome colors, all blue backgrounds and funny colored characters. I should fire up the Spectrum version as it says on the tape 128k only so should be pretty good.

You guys need to get more arcade classics like this, no brainer type release, it is what retro gaming and your original mantra was all about :)
If we're talking 8-bit, the NES versions of Double Dragon I and II were quite good although the first one did NOT look at all like the arcade version. It still managed to have its own charm, though :)

Double Dragon III was also awesome and I like how it made use of the other player. You could jump kick at the other player and he would be able to throw you at the enemy :D

As for more arcade classics, well, they need to either be made or re-made before we can get 'em :)

fortune_p_dawg: I liked the NES version of Double Dragon 3 as well, despite it being heavily criticized. For me it was one of those games that got better the more I played it, and forced the player to ere on the side of caution due to the extremely limited lives. I remember the first time I got Ranzou at the end of mission 3... I was so disappointed that he was so fragile.
Chin was better anyways :P

fortune_p_dawg: Indeed he was. I always used Chin against the Marion final boss.

:-D

Ah, good early 90's memories... need to listen to some Pearl Jam or something now.
Don't forget the flannel :P
Worlds of Magic is now officially confirmed :P See the Upcoming tab :D

tfishell: Metro Redux confirmed.
More like "I wasn't watching what I was typing" confirmed :P

vicklemos: Just saw some Worlds of Magic reviews and, despite the fact that it has a Linux version (awesome!), the game got bombarded by lots of folks out there. But it looks so stunning and stuff I wonder what went wrong.
Hope it's all fixable :)
The guys from Wastelands Interactive are working hard on the game post release, we are hoping to release the GOG version very soon and we hope the GOG launch of the game will go smoothly :)
Confirmed :P

Magmarock: es that mean that polish GOG users will be able to get battlefield...? O.o
Errrr I don't know?

cyboff: Judas has enough power :D
My backing of a game on my time and dime doesn't necessarily mean it will be on GOG, just so you know :)

Kristian: But it would tend to indicate that you won't be fighting against it coming to GOG.... right? So if the people making release decision at GOG ask you for your opinion that would surely be positive for this particular game?
For the last time, I don't make any decisions as to whether a game comes to GOG or not :)
