Settlers 4 is fucking impossible! I can't even get past the 2nd mission! AHHHHHHH!!!!!! :O

NoNewTaleToTell: I also quit the new Shadow Warrior game after completing about a third of it (I assume). It's actually pretty fun, looks great, has decent humor and some exploration with secrets to find, but for whatever reason I just have no urge whatsoever to play it. I'll probably go back and finish it some day just to do it, but it won't be any time soon.
For whatever reason, I played Shadow Warrior 2013 last night, the first time I've played it in well over a month, and I think I'll go ahead and try to finish it after all.
Add Star Wars: The Old Republic and Neverwinter to my games quit. I know they're MMOs, and technically speaking you can't quit them a portion of the way through because they never end, but I don't plan on picking the games back up anytime soon.

Neverwinter: I simply felt I got all I could out of it for the moment, and I have better games to play for right now.

SWTOR: My school's wifi won't let me update the game for one reason or another. Since I can't play the game until I go home, and because it just takes up a lot of space, I guess it's time to hit the old uninstall button.
1.) Killzone: Shadow Fall

I love FPS, always did, and I rarely quit on any of them, but this game is kind of disgusting. First I did not play it because the savegame system allowed only to save between larger sections, so you had to play 2-3 hours straight in order to save your progress, terrible and stupid idea. Now this is finally patched and now, being further into the game, I realise the many flaws the game has. Terrible level design, enemies you don´t even see shooting you with SMGs from places on the other side of the map, the decision to force specific guns onto the player, an incredibly stupid story that barely makes sense, the gritty warzone feeling from the first games completely gone... But like I´ve said, I almost never quit on FPS, so I will finish this sucker too. Eventually...

2.) Dark Souls

I was surprised how well this game works for me, although this kind of game is not even my cup of tea. It is hard, yes, but I´ve learned that you can defeat every enemy with a bit of attention and preparation. The only problem with this game is that it is time consuming, there is no "Just an hour before I go to bed!" and right now I don´t have this time. But I am hell-bend to finish this game.

3.) Stalker: Call of Pripyat + Sigerous Mod

I am not sure if game + mod qualifies for this, but this is the game that frustrates me the most right now. I love the Stalker games, CoP is the best installment in my opinion and the Sigerous mod does an amazing job in further improving it. The only problem is that the game is so terribly unstable. I´ve put it on ice for now, because the constant crashing is utterly frustrating. Sometimes the game even stops to work at all for no obvious reasons and only starts working again after a complete re-install. So maybe I will pick it up when I have more free time and feel more relaxed and stress-proof...

Honorable mentions:
- Nox
- Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura

About "Dead Island" - I like the game, even in SP. I find it way more entertaining than many other highly priced games, but that is of course only my opinion.
- Beyond Good and Evil. Watched the opening cut scene, played through the tutorial and a little of the game (about 30 mins) and uninstalled. It just didn't interest me.

- Risen. Played for about 5 hours but got fed up of being a wimpy, underpowered wuss who got a beating from anyone and everything.
I'm getting closer and closer to giving up on Divinity II: Director's Cut despite absolutely loving parts of it. The reasons I'm close to quitting are the insane difficulty spikes and certain nonsensical gameplay mechanics. As a mage everything within three levels (above or below) is always stronger than you in every category regardless of what spells, armor and stats you have, the only real advantage you have is the ability to dodge.

Overall the game is quite good, however the further I've progressed in the game the more I've been railroaded directly into higher and higher difficulty spikes and it's making me no longer enjoy the game.
Quitting Heroes of Might and Magic I. I own all the Heroes games, but never played HoMM 1 until now. I played it a bit just to see how the series started (I know the "start" was actually the original King's Bounty) and now I see no reason to actually finish it. The next games in the series are better, and since the first one is not too heavy with the story, I see no reason to continue so I moved to HoMM 2.
Settlers 4. 3rd time in the past two weeks thought I think this might actually be it.

I hope so.

I can't afford to throw another keyboard at the wall.
Ashamedly, some games I actually planned to beat (I don't plan on doing that with every game I buy) but have already given up on: The three D&D games I bought (Icewind Dale II, Neverwinter Nights, and Planescape. I might return to Planescape, but I can't stand NWN and Icewind Dale is not that fun (love the character portraits, though). Haven't quit on anything else, even if I don't get around to them often, but the first two especially I'm considering removing from my hard drive.

Sacred was a game I bought recently during a sale, but I can't get it to run at a playable frame rate, too bad because I really wanted to play it too (I think it's because I use Windows 7 and an Nvidia gpu and I am never going back to Radeon).

Tales of Symphonia, and consequently Dawn of the New World (shame I got the second one anticipating it wouldn't take much longer to get through the first) partly because it's too long and partly because about 85% of the way through the game my memory card corrupted and I've never wanted to marathon it since.
Dark Eye Chains of Satinev- MC is too annoying to play. Puzzles and game world are interesting, though, so I'll go back someday.

99 Spirits + Tsukomogami- one dimensional gameplay and game design. Uninteresting characters and story premise, imo. I think it's either a game you'll like or not, so experiences may vary.

Broken Sword 2- this game seriously bored me halfway through; it's like I already knew all the jokes, the story, and the gimmicks.

I quit Zombi U earlier this year. I did not like the trial and error gameplay the arena turned into.
Remember Me

Tried it as a free PSN download. Everything was fine until the combat. I was unable to do the combos or whatever it was the game expected you to do. Just spent fifteen minutes dying over & over in the same tutorial. Knew when to quit.
Beat Blasters 3. It just wasn't fun enough.
Further to my earlier post, I've now also prematurely uninstalled Brutal Legend. It was with some regret as I liked all the characters as well as their real life counterparts. The tracks are great as is the humour.

There was just too much going on for my little brain to compute....it almost tried to be too diverse as it left me wtf-ing every few minutes.

I'd still recommend it to competent gamers who like a range of genres crammed in to one game.
I quit God Hand on the PS2 and Dark Souls for PC simply because they turned out to be too hard for my liking. I don't mind hard games (I finished Gothic 2) but these 2 were just too much for me. They are both good games with tight controls and great combat.

I do like to finish the games I start but I won't turn it into a masochistic project. And I did get a good 40 hours out of Dark Souls so good bang for the buck there.
