I have 2 retro games I purchased for use on my Macbook. In the past, I had no trouble. Now they won't seem to load. Does GOG work on Catalina? That seems to be the only thing I've changed.

I don't currently have a Mac but I can confirm that Catalina definitely killed 32-bit support, so if they aren't working now, it's due to that, so you need to go back to Mojave (or install Mojave on Parallels or dual boot with Linux/Windows), and install your 32 bit games/apps there.

About GOG games, I believe it's up to the devs if they release their games 32 or 64 bit here on GOG. Supposing some are 32 bit, it's up to them to update their games as well. :/

GOG is a website. If you can use a web browser, you can use GOG. As for games, it depends. Are the games 32-bit Mac games? Then no. Are the games DOS games? Then yes; get a 64-bit version of Boxer or DOSBox and use that with the games. Apparently some DOS games were updated with 64-bit DOSBox on GOG so in those cases you can just re-download.
