Hey guys, i need help.. Like a sucker i bought fallout shelter on the mobile and instantly got a thirst for games like FallOut2. The problem is i have returned to that over the years maybe a thousand times. And I've been searching for games with kinda The same feel.

Now by "The same feel" i don't mean it has to have the same scenery or anything, what i love most about it is the free-roaming/exploration/looting/level up aspect of the game.

So if anyone has any suggestions i would love to hear it.

Thanks.
Maybe: Wasteland (2), The Age of Decadence, Neo Scavenger, Underrail, Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura, Pillars of Eternity, Gorky 17 or Shadowrun: Dragonfall.
You would need to narrow it down a bit. Quite a lot of the RPG genre is roaming/looting/levelling to some degree or another. Anything specific, high/low fantasy, post appocolyptic? The original Divinity for instance has all that, the first (only only) two Diablo games. They are examples of Action RPG. Ultima 7 + Expansions, Baldurs Gate, are examples of more standard fantasy themed RPGs.

By the way, how is that, mobile game anything like Fallout 2? It looks more like SimBunker.
Arcanum has a similar play style, although the atmosphere is completely different (steampunk)

Have you played Fallout 2 with the restoration project? It adds a lot of content that was originally cut, such as visiting Sulik's tribe for instance

? That's like saying a game is set in ancient Britain when it's actually set in ancient Rome.
I wonder what would be far off, then. :)
You could be playing "Don't Starve" but it doesn't have those RPG elements, tsk tsk pesky RPG elements!
See, I WANT to say 'Borderlands' but I know what people will say, but, hey you can't deny it has
"free-roaming/exploration/looting/level up"
Imagine if Fallout 2 and Halo had a baby I guess, just don't expect him to graduate top of his class or anything (it's fun but dumb)

*edit*
'Wild West Planet' and 'Post Nuclear Apocalypse Earth' are actually much more similar settings than you might first think too...

Arcanum of course as has been said. Also, check out the Geneforge series.

Interesting, is there anything similar for the cut content from Fallout 1, do you know?
