I think Cthulhu Saves the World was refused as well. :(

It's a cute little Final Fantasy parody with a nice sense of humor. Surprisingly good overall, and it's super cheap too.

JKHSawyer: Did GOG ever pass on They Bleed Pixels? Why isn't that here? It just got a major update not long ago.
I'm curious about this one, as well. Not sure if the devs just didn't bother bringing it over, or if GOG shot it down, but it needs to be here.

I mean, really -- if GOG's willing to carry Mr. Bree, which is a thoroughly terrible, no-name take on the genre, there's no valid reason why something like this wouldn't be on the store.

Between Surgeon Simulator and Daikatana, I think it's kind of hard for GOG to justify rejecting most games. Sadly, they seem to do it anyway.

Barry_Woodward: Games GOG has passed on that deserve an apology from GOG for rejecting the first time.
Fixed that for you. The original wording implies that they need to appeal to GOG again when GOG is the one at fault and needs to suck it up.

F4LL0UT: Are you kidding me? I know that these games are pretty weak gameplay-wise as well as short but for frigg's sake, those are some true classics! I wasn't even aware that they are available on Steam. GOG deserves a slap for this one. A big one.

SLAPATAPAP!
That's what got me too. Those games strike me as something Gog should actively be seeking out.

Salvation Prophecy

I'm not gonna try to claim that it's a AAA level game, because it's not. However it IS a fun sci fi take on Mount & Blade, featuring large battles (20 vs 20) in space and on land, in real time combat! You can explore different solar systems, visit many different planets and crush your enemy's defenses so you can take their planets and space stations for your own.

It has clear progression as you start off a nobody and work your way to the top of the command chain, as you also upgrade your skills and your ship. Beyond main story missions, you'll have to defend your faction's bases as enemies can attack them just as you can theirs, you can also take on bounty missions in your spare time. It has an interesting story, solid graphics and it's actually really stable, I didn't encounter a single bug in the many hours I spent on it.

While it isn't a "10/10", it's a solid "7/10" and is one of the closest things you can go to Mount & Blade with a sci fi veneer.

Looks ok that, will vote.
Oh god Dragon's Lair, the title that started cinematic casual gaming.
Kill it with fire.
Dragon's Lair and Space Ace...

most prominent entries in the "horrible classics" category. Since they're really part of gaming history they should be here. I probably would even buy them for the collection's sake (but not to play them).

It's especially silly considering that we already have Kingdom: The Far Reaches on here which is apparently an even worse Dragon's Lair clone.
Grynsoft, the developer of Wings of Vi, said this on Twitter:

"Wings of Vi is already DRM free on steam. Tried contacting gog a long time ago but never got anything set up."

So... sounds like GOG passed on that one, as well. For those that don't know, Wings of Vi is a super difficult platformer that's actually astoundingly good. Same idea as something like Volgarr the Viiking, but way faster-paced. Seems really dumb not to have it when it's a well-received game (based on Steam reviews and the very positive reception at Summer Games Done Quick) and the dev wanted to put it on the store.

What the shit? GOG passed on Dragon's Lair 1 & 2? Why would you do that? At some point everyone wants to try these ones out.

Is there anything particularly bad about the PC versions?

Telika: I'm still confused about the Braid absence.
I tweeted Jonathan Blow about Braid coming to GOG:

"Yeah, I have been talking to them about it but it doesn't seem to be high on anyone's priority list."

Six months later, I asked for an update:

"Discussions just sort of stopped. I think they are a lot more interested in The Witness than Braid."

That last update was the 12th of October 2013. So, maybe GOG didn't officially reject it, but it doesn't appear they're interested enough to release it, so far anyway
