Feedback and wishlist voting has convinced GOG to accept games they've originally passed on. The latest example: "Thanks in large part to community support GOG will be carrying HuniePop; starting a bit later this year." So, which games would you like to see GOG reconsider? Make sure to link to wishlist entries. Feel free to include links to trailers and reviews to bolster your case.

The indie Metroid / Mega Man hybrid Rex Rocket () ([url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/rex_rocket]Vote) deserves a second look. It's got an unforgettably catchy soundtrack by Saskrotch and has gotten great reviews ( & [url=http://www.fistfullofpotions.com/reviews/rex-rocket-review-im-a-rocket-man/]Fist Full Of Potions). It didn't get the marketing push or coverage of Shovel Knight or Axiom Verge, but it's in the same league quality-wise. The dev is open to resubmitting the game.

Good to hear that HuniePop is going to find its way here. I was MASSIVELY skeptical about the quality of the game until a friend gifted it to me on Steam. It really is good.

Is there a list somewhere of known games that GOG has passed on? I'd love to see exactly what we're missing.

There isn't a definitive list, but maybe we can compile one in this thread.

I seem to recall Degica having issues bringing some of their games (mostly shmups) over. GOG made an exception for Crimzon Clover, because it had some buzz, but supposedly wasn't interested in the rest.
Did GOG ever pass on They Bleed Pixels? Why isn't that here? It just got a major update not long ago.
Oniken, I guess? Joymasher are cool devs :)
Makes sense, since their other game is here. I guess.

I guess! :P
Digital Leisure, owner of the Dragon's Lair series and Space Ace: "We had tried in the past to release the games on GOG, but it never worked out. Given the interest, I will have our team reach out again to the folks at GOG."

Cook, Serve, Delicious!

I heard that the game was rejected for being too "casual", even though that's not at all true. It can get pretty intense as you go on, and it's a lot of fun! Plus, it's not like being "casual" should prevent a game from being on GOG anyway as long as it's of quality, which this game definitely is.
Mike Bithell on Thomas Was Alone (, [url=http://gaming.thedigitalfix.com/content/id/1489/thomas-was-alone.html]review): "unfortunately, they refused to sell TWA"

Wait ... is that the uncensored version of Huniepop?

Btw don't forget about Volume by Mike Bithell if you're gonna mention TWA. Not sure if he's even tried to get it here though. :P

The rejection seems to have soured him on GOG, so it's very possible he hasn't bothered to submit it.

No.
Capybara Games on Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP: "We don’t have any plans to release it on GOG. Sorry. Wanted to when we first released on PC but it didn’t work out."
