I'm amazed how long this game was in the end, the map is huge.
I've got every room, every item, complete ending, the sandwich recipe and finished all of the hidden "dungeons" in the upper middle of the menu.
After I only knew Knytt and NightSky from Nicklas Nygren, I was surprised that you are able to die so often in this game, but the best thing about this one is, that it casually quicksaves practically everywhere you could die and sets you back instantly, so the frustration level is never too high, even at moments where you need quite some skill.
What I really missed as so often was button mapping for a controller, at the current moment in time, I fear it's another case of Microsoft controller support only, without QJoyPad, I wouldn't have as much fun with this game, which is a shame. You really need a controller for games like this.
Another point I think is annoying is the overly obvious misandric sexism in this game
which seems to fit todays current.
The main character and her two companions are female and nearly every guy in the game is useless, dumb or an egotistic liar, ok...
one of her companions is a lesbian, ok but
the other one was untruthful in the past and still the guy he cheated on was "the asshole" in the lesbians opinion, ok...
and of course in one of the bonus dungeons, the lesbian which acutally did nothing rants about how other stories only include male power, blablabla.
This really was too much for me.
Maybe he thinks, that mostly women will play this game because it isn't primarily about winning and isn't won by violence but by exploring, agility and being nice to people, but the majority of his customers will still be men and although many of those today seem to be trained/brain-washed to be self-hating feminists, some surely would prefer a bit more equality here and there instead of just reversing this stuff.
Nonetheless, it was a really good exploration puzzle platformer.
