Thanks buddy, for the suggestion! Hey, since you know it, is it good? The reviews are contradictory and the score isn't really high; unlike other metroidvanias floating around.

firstpastthepost: The tomb raider games are on sale right now.... just saying.

BeatriceElysia: Bit oldish for me. Will check it out.
the sale almost tempted me then i read all the forum threads on how messed up it ran , might want to give it a pass unless you dont mind fiddling with the game to get it to run

not sure if it fits your criteria but vampire masquerade bloodlines is way fun

Hyperdimension Neptunia games (unless you're allergic to anime or JRPGs or grinding).

krakataul: Venetica
and
Beyond Good and Evil
Good suggestions. Venetica is a decent game and Beyond Good and Evil is awesome!

Beyond Good and Evil is here on GOG and Venetica is available (DRM-free) on fireflowergames.

I really enjoyed it when I was playing it, hence why I recommend it.

You forgot to mention that you enjoyed it because of LGBT characters.
Blades of Time is an action RPG in a fantasy setting with some light platforming and puzzle solving. Also Darksiderd 3 but I haven’t played DS3 yet

You're missing out on a great game then.

(Also, if for some reason that does bother you, keep in mind that all the dialog is skippable, and the game is not focused on dialog or story in the first place.)
Unfortunately, I only dig Hellblade & Dragon Dogma.

Anyone remember Oni? That was a fun game.

Playing Bayonetta know, would also recommend.

Oni was awesome. I can't say the same about Bayonetta, but that's just my opinion...

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm playing the "definitive" PC version of Bayonetta instead of the console releases which I heard were rather buggy.
I enjoy Bayonetta as well, but the QTE-events are garbage.

Sorry, it seems I confused it with Venetica, my fault. To be honest, I haven't even played Bayonetta...
