Command and conquer and Stronghold is a great strategy series.

The Solus Project - a survival (actual survival game, no zombies and minecraft shit that gets called "survival" these days) adventure game. Seriously one of the very best games in recent years + it looks great, uses Unreal4.

Space Colony HD - colony building + sims (you have a couple of colonists with their specific personalities and needs and you have to make them comfortable with staying on an alien planet and with staying with each other LOL :D )

Shadow Warrior 2013

Don't Starve is a good survival game.
Simulation-ish game with a ton of content and gameplay worth hundreds of hours -
Terraria.
Dead Space is a decent FPS.

- Far Cry series is amazing, each title has a separate story and its own unique setting, so you can pick just one that looks most interesting (5 main games and some spin-offs).
- Stalker series has a really great postapocalyptic atmosphere. Pretty fun fps games.
