The GOG Galaxy client is great, a wonderful means to keep all my games neatly on my computer. However after updating to the newest version of it I keep getting an error message each time I open the program after I close the window. It keeps saying that there is a problem with updating the client and to download it from the website. I go to the website to see if a new version is out but the installation file is the same version as before. So I found out to get Galaxy running again I have to uninstall the client and then reinstall just to get it running again. Any way I can go about fixing this? Because I'd rather not uninstall it every time I would like to use it. Thanks.

EDIT:
Never mind I found the issue. I apparently had pinned the wrong Galaxy program to my task bar on my desktop. I just simply clicked on the Galaxy icon within the hidden icons and it popped up like nothing was wrong, so I pinned that to the task bar instead and it works flawlessly.

This is definitely the solution; that fixed it for me. Thank you! :)
I don't have it pinned, so that didn't fix it for me.
