It's a new season. The leaves are falling. The GOG squirrel has begun to store away his acorns for the winter. The creative juices run high (hopefully), and the Infinite Wonders of Creation returns again!
May the memory of Klumpen0815 live on in this giveaway.
I mean, he's not dead or anything (I think), but this was his thing to begin with.

The basic rules are that you submit a piece of art (as many as you like) of any quality and in any form. Everything's accepted so long as it's your own work.
More specific rules:
1. You must submit a picture, copy, or recording of a piece of art in any quality or form. Tunes, paintings, drawings, games, mods, carvings, writings, poems, whatever.
2. The thing must be made, or at least finished, between October 1st and October 31st. This deadline may be extended if the circumstances call for it.
3. Hand-made things are preferred, but other entries are welcome as well.
No rep limits or anything of the sort are in place. I know you people are nice guys, and I seriously doubt a scammer is about to do some actual work for a change to get a game.

There'll be two sections. Three winners will be chosen by me, and three winners will be chosen by votes. Once all entries are in, I'll post links to all entries. Votes for your favorite pieces can be given either by posting here or by contacting me via PM if you're the shy sort. Either way works. If you simply can't decide on a favorite piece, you can also make "honorable mentions", which will count as half-votes.

Each winner will receive 1 prize.

I will not be picking people who are "not in" for prizes on my picks, but feel free to vote for them in the People's Choice whether they were in or not (I won't be picking People's Choice winners either). The point is to see who had the most beloved entries and highlight the talent here in the community more than anything else, and to give everybody a chance to feel proud of what they've made.

Prizes can be chosen either from a list donated by gnostic, a list donated by VaaNFM, or in the form of two extra games exceeding the limit on The Community Giveaway - Steam Edition.
List of games (GOG) donated by gnostic:
IL-2 Sturmovik™: 1946

+1 for the giveaway, but will have to withhold possible entry until said time as I can think of something potentially worthwhile for rule #1. :) I've got some loose ideas, but need to let them sit and brew to see what happens. :)

Edit:

"GA: The Infinite Wonders of Creation - Mark VIIII"

Hrm, shouldn't that be "Mark IX" in roman numerals? :)

You're gonna make coffee for the thread?
Cool.
I'll have a decaf cappuccino.

It should be, but I realized my mistake too late and I think Judas is sleeping.

Oh, trust me... I don't think you'd like that much at all. :)

Isn't that paradoxical? :)

No problem, lets just call it Romerican Numerals(TM) :)

I sincerely doubt that, seeing as I plan on using it to clean the drain in my kitchen sink.

You might need to hire a plumber after to repair the damaged pipes. :)
Not in, +1!

Brewing can mean brewing tea as well you know. But somehow no one in the Americas drinks tea.....

Not true! I was a tea junkie most of my life, however I had to give it up over the last few years due to it causing me some health related problems. I know many tea drinkers here. Coffee seems to get the most publicity but don't be fooled, people drink tea just as much as coffee here. :)
I'm torn. My kind of art that I make and am proud of is pretty niche and probably barely counts.

I'm a big tea fan myself, but....how much do you have to drink that it starts giving you health problems? O_o

After not drinking it for a very long time, if I start drinking it tomorrow and have about 2-3 8oz cups of regular orange pekoe or Twinnings English Breakfast tea per day every day, then within around 4-7 days I will start to observe noticeable join discomfort, cracking in my elbows and if I continue for a few weeks to a month I develop tendonitis in my shoulders and elbows. Coffee is about twice as bad, and I also get digestive related problems from coffee as well which only started happening about 3 years ago.

The shitty thing is, I've had this joint pain and inflammation for 15 years or so and had no idea why, but soon as I stopped drinking tea and coffee the problem tapered off quickly. It only really became a noticeable unavoidable serious problem for me about 3 years ago and I stumbled upon the cause by accident. My doctor encouraged me to avoid diuretics completely so I mostly do so now. I occasionally have one cup of tea or coffee every now and then but maybe one per month or something like that which gives no noticeable problem.

Huh. I've never heard of anything like that before.
I'm usually drinking around 2-5 8oz cups a day of some sort of spiced tea (two current favorites are chai and vanilla rooibos). But then, I don't have any joint issues besides previous knee injury.

I doubt that the tea caused the problems, it only made it worse for me with my own health issues basically.
Well October is the month I do a drawing every day if you want me to spam this thread daily. :P

And also yes, spiced tea is the best. I make myself an organic soy vanilla chai iced latte™ almost every day.
Not in and all but have a magnificent + 1
