Only from the coach (he condemned the action as "destroying the sport"), not from the player. They will certainly come (unless the club issues a gagging order on him) - he's a player of Viktoria Cologne, that city is one of Germany's main media nodes. He's probably got three dozen invitations for interviews on his cell phone already. ;)

Well, in any case, there's probably very little he can say to redeem himself.
How Important was the match? It looked like a lot of the fans where ready to jump onto the pitch after him.

His team could have secured promotion with a victory, but they lost. The match was 2-3 against Cologne and the player tried to prevent the 2-4. It's wasn't _that_ crucial though because the team is dominating the league, and they will secure promotion in one of the next six games. The opponents (black team) are fighting for a slot in a league that will be newly formed next season, the 3 points scored with this victory are very important for them.

ah well then I guess the tension is understandable. But it also makes it pretty cool of his team to allow the goal.
