Painted_Doll: Will this be the only promo for the whole week ?
Dunno about "only", but it runs right through the weekend, so at the very least, it's replaced the Weekly Sale this week.

eiii: My wishlist seems not to be representative, only 3 games are on sale which either still do not support Linux or are still too expensive. So probably nothing for me. Nevertheless a good sale with some good discounts.

Are the Witcher 1 and 2 games still on so many wishlists? :P
Well, the news post speaks of the most-wishlisted games "ever", so some of that is probably from when they were newer, and not frequently discounted down to a couple bucks. ;P

Hey, what's wrong with Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy? I had some good opportunities to buy that game, but I usually wait for the same price on GOG. And now I see that GOG version does not support Linux :| The game released You-Know-Where works both on Windows and Linux out of the box...
So, System Shock 1+2 on sale again? Weren't they going for double the price last week? GOG, you're being weird.

Impaler26: So these are the most wishlisted games ever on GOG? Very funny! My wishlist must be meaningless then. :D
Well, they already know you either A) own the games already on Steam or B) aren't interested in the games to begin with. =P Just extrapolating from your numerous release threads comments. ;)

There is a long list of GOG games which have a Linux port available elsewhere, but I did not even know that Fahrenheit has a Linux port. Maybe it's because the Fahrenheit version on GOG is not the remastered version, which often even is a good thing. ;) But I don't know if it's also true in this case.

Edit: I've installed the GOG version on Linux. The game works with vanilla Wine without any tweaks. I haven't gotten too far though, as I cannot even finish the tutorial. But that's probably because of my stupidity. The game controls on mouse and keyboard are a joke. It feels as if this game has been ported from a console to PC by someone who has never played a game on PC. "Failed again. Have another try!" without any explanation what I'm doing wrong? After hearing that about 100 times I've given up. Am I supposed to play this game with a controller?

Solution: You have to press both keys, the arrow key and the corresponding key on the number pad, simultaneously. What had the guy smoked when he was inventing that "interface"? :P At least I could finish the tutorial now and start the real game, so the game seems to work under Wine as expected...

There's also a platinum report for the GOG version of Fahrenheit on WineHQ.

Only the first one was at double the price. :P

Maybe the 85% discount for the first one is only a glitch as I've not seen it on sale with more than 75% discount (outside of a bundle) so far and everybody who wants to buy it should hurry up. ;)

Great Idea for a sale, though I really think the Interface for smaller sales like this should get updated. If you look at the Gog page you can't even tell on first glance that a sale is going on. You have to look at the specific rectangular square on the right, that looks very much like the other rectangular squares that are just highlighting various games, and read it to realise that there is a sale going on.
The headline for that block says "Latest Deal", but it isn't something that jumps out at you. Just like the red -90, with the lighter red color it doesn't jump out as much as a red, big number should.
I would at least put "Valentines Sale" or "Wishlist Sale" or just something with the word "Sale" in it in big Letters in that block. Preferably in a strong color that jumps out from the rest of the website design. The small block is fine for the regular weekly sales that are always happening, but I think you should make this sale a bit more obvious. It's a great deal and the way it is now, some people might miss it if they just give the page a quick glance.
So problem that i can't find my caesar 3 cd-key for the bravo screenfun cd i have,is there any way to get it from the cd?
Also were there any patches for caesar 3 since 2003 on?
Don't have it drm free yet.
And bought psychonauts since it seems rather interesting, like how it looks and the price only 0.99 eu cents.
Nice idea for a sale and a great selection of games! It is perhaps the first sale I encounter in which I already own more than a handful of games. I'm eyeing several games, especially Arcanum/Syberia/Fahreneit among others. Lets see if I can resist..

System shock was just on sale. I bought it last night a few hours before the sale ended for $2.99. I wake up this morning and it's on sale again, but for $1.49.

I almost didn't buy it because I don't plan to play it right away and I was thinking it would probably go on sale cheaper later (I didn't think this soon though), but I caved in and bought it with just a few hours in the sale remaining. I'm not going to get bent out of shape over it, I thought it was a good deal at $2.99, so I bought it. But there are probably going to be a few people that will get upset seeing a game on back-to-back sales being cheaper the second time around.

A giant hug of submission, forcing me to yield and finally buy Age of Decadence. If it goes on a better discount before the next year, rest assured I shall complain about it in at least one post. Oh yes. Well, if I can find the time.

I feel for ya. I bought the classic Shadow Warrior for 60% off only to have it be free a few months later. Considering I've had over 40 freebies (Shadow Warrior Redux being one of them) since I joined GOG, I'm not gonna be bent up about it either :P
