Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

As mentioned I'm having the same problem - where the page says there is a problem on their side (in a foreign language).

BlackThorny: All of these (and the one you added later) report an error on site when trying to get them. Does it require a VPN or something?

twifight: I was able to claim them all from Europe without a vpn.
However, even though I've claimed Destroy All Humans many times now, when reloading the page it does not say I now own it (as the other games do).

edit: Seems I had to create an XBox profile on top of my Microsoft one...
Now all (but Destroy All Humans) is marked as owned when I try to access the above links.
However, it does not seem to list on my actual Xbox profile page: https://account.xbox.com/en-us/MyGames

you will get 'Quake' for free if u watch quakecon (august 7 to 9) and rumour has it, if the donations hit 10000 dollars you will get quake 2 as well. requirements- bethesda.net account which is linked to your twitch account.
it is similar to ubi's watch dogs idea but most likely the servers wont get overloaded as it is only on twitch and not multiple platforms

P.S.A
Rocket League will go f2p and turn into an epic games store exclusive. owners of rocket league will still be able to play but no one new can get the game. they mentioned it will be free sometime in "summer" (by summer they mean american summer) So keep ur eyes peeled this month or september

I got Crackdown, Crackdown 2 and Staking for free on the Microsoft store. As for the ones before, you don't need to own a linked X-Box to claim the games forever.
Apparently you need to stay in the Japanese store to get Stacking, I hadn't noticed as I speak Japanese so it was all the same for me.

Try maybe the USA or a European shop rather than the one from your country.
BTW Ikaruga and Costume Quest are still free, while JUJU and Destroy All Humans are not anymore.

My suggestion for everyone is that you also follow the freegamesfindings Reddit. That's a place where you can actually talk about free games without all the negative people that are afflicting the GOG forums.

Alto's Adventure and Alto's Odyssey are coming to PC and consoles. Therefore it will be free for 1 week from 13th August on the Epic Games Store, along with Troy: A Total War Saga.

This game is perhaps the longest running free game on GOG. If you installed free video game ''GWENT: The Witcher Card Game'' with the GOG Galaxy client you got ''The Witcher: Enhanced Edition'' for free. And it's likely that it will still be free after the offer expires.

Canada only, apparently:
Bordarlands 3 is free on the PSN, but you have to be in Canada. The game receipt might show up as a demo but you are getting the actual game.
