Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

Themken: Destiny 2 seems to be a free to play -- pay to win mmorpg.
That was because Bungie - the developer behind the Destiny games were under the wing of Activision, and they were constantly pressured to stuff their games full of egregious mcrotransactions in order to meet the revenue expectations set by Activision. Now, Bungie and Activision have parted ways, and that means that Bungie will now have full control over the helm when it comes to their games, meaning that they can change. Right now, they are making many huge plans for Destiny 2 as they attempt to right the wrongs that Activision's influence has wrought on their game, such as introducing a 5-year-long plan. They seem to be committed to fixing and improving their game, and that's definitely a good sign. It's possible that they will fail at changing, but only time will tell. I highly suggest checking it out ince in a while, because this game seems to be showing more and more promise thanks to a passionate dev team and an interesting premise. :)

Alright, good info there but personally I think I have had enough of online gaming. I think the best for any more expensive online game to make and upkeep is to have a monthly subscription. Getting the game itself should be either free or cheap to buy.

I guess it is 3 weeks old, maybe not...... dunno....... but nobody linked it so far.

Everyone who will turn on EA Login Verification during October 2019 will get Origin Access Basic for free. To do it, you must:

-Visit EA Account security settings
-At Login Verification section, press "Turn On"
-Select how you want to get code (email, text, call, app authenticator) and use it to activate Login Verification

The free month of Origin Access Basic will start on November 1, 2019. If you are already a member of Origin Access Basic or Premier, you won't be charged during that month.
