Our moderation team decided not to take a side in the discussion since this giveaway thread was created by the community and, as long as there are no forum rules violated, is up to you, dear Gogers, to decide its fate. We will not set giveaway rules, edit the OP's post, nor lock the whole thread.

However, to make it easier for newcomers to understand the situation (about the OP being inactive and other), I will stick my own post right above the first one.

You are, of course, free to create new threads to start anew and make your own, clear rules. At the same time, please stay reasonable when crating them, as multiple new duplicates might make it even more confusing for many Gogers.

MarkoH01: You cannot "claim" those temporary freebies in most cases. You can just download them for free while they are still free.

Dogmaus: this is what I'm saying. These are not claimable. :) I'm not wasting drive space to store a game I know nothing about and don't know when, if, I will ever play. And will just be forgotten in the download folder until deletion. I have previously added dozens of games on Itch.io, I would say that not claimable is the exception. This is why I mention it, so people know and can decide if the links are worth visiting anyway. For me they weren't. If it's clamable and doesn't look like a 3 years old made it, I can get it and consider whether I want to play it or not one day.
It shows an option to claim for me and says I had claimed it ages ago.

If you were following the thread, you likely already claim them. That may be why you do not see a claim button.
