You still need a proxy /VPN in China to access it.

Unfortunately didn't work for me. First method seemed to work but the game didn't appear in my library, the second method (with vpn) gave me a message about not being valid for this offer.

With the first method it gives you a link to open uplay with the game, but uplay asks for an activation code. Either Ubi have closed the loophole or I'm unlucky.

I used that link and it worked for me.

The VPN needs to be in China, otherwise it won't work.

This works but you have to do it as I saw a comment on reddit.

Do this:
Before pressing the button right click on the webpage, press "inspect", on the right menu, top bar press "toggle device toolbar", which gives you access to the site as a mobile phone from your PC. Once you see the site as mobile proceed to claim your game. You could try doing it from your phone too.

I did it with the phone and it worked. :)
And I didn't need any VPN!

Can confirm that it does work but you must use mobile to add under china store.

Using PC browser, you will still see "Added!" but it is a lie. Mobile is necessary for it to appear in your Uplay library
