BEFORE YOU START COMPLAINING, READ THIS:
This thread is a continuation of the original free games thread. Since the OP of that thread doesn't seem to be active anymore, I've tried merging the original list with all the additions that people have suggested since then.
All credit goes to doomer and people from the original thread. I'm not trying to rip off anyone.
Games with a star (*) in front of them are games that are new to this thread (I've probably forgotten the star a couple of places). I just add them, I don't test them so the stuff listed in the Notes section may or may not apply to them. If it does, feel free to drop a note, and I'll write it.
Also, I categorize very loosely (when's a game Action, when is it Shooter?) so if you're looking for a specific game, you're better off using search. I know some of the categories from the old thread are way too vague. I'd be happy to re-organize, so if you think any of these games should have another category (maybe an entire new one?), if you spot dead links or something else then please drop me a PM or something. I'll try working on shining the list up a bit and make it easier to read.
If you suggest a new game, PLEASE describe which category I should put it in. That'd make the whole thing way easier for me :)

Everyone knows that exists tons of free games on the web, I'm not interested to list any crap that exists, please, suggest only good free games and mods, I will check out and update this thread as fast as possible.
For pratical reasons, I will not list limited games, with any region restriction, in beta phase or unallowed games modifications. Enjoy! Lhademmor-EDIT: I didn't check very thoroughly so if any such games have snuck in, PM me and I'll remove them. I also don't add tools, engines or anything like that - only actual games
