A new contract and alternative look for Yennefer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt keeps things interesting with another two pieces of the 16 FREE DLC Program that will continue trickling down for a while yet. Previously, Geralt got to suit up in a Temerian set of armor, and then clean up good with the Haircut & Beard set.

Now, you can take a minute to play a little dress up thanks to the brand new, alternative look for the mighty sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg. How sultry!

We'll also take on an exciting new contract (and if you've played The Witcher 3, you know how extensive those can get) with the "Missing Miners" quest: Miners from a small Skellige village are disappearing. Investigate and find out what's happening!

Installing the free DLC:
Here is how you can grab and install your new DLC in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's just like buying a game.

If you're using GOG Galaxy:
--Select The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the sidebar to open its game page.
--Click on the drop-down labeled "More", (located next to the PLAY button) and choose "Configure".
--The Configure page will feature all available DLCs listed towards the bottom.
--Select each DLC that you want to install, and GOG Galaxy will do the rest. If you want to remove the DLC from your game, simply uncheck the selection box.

If you're using the website:
You can download installers for each DLC pack manually. Simply head to the Library section of My Account, locate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and download the files you want. Afterwards, run each one as if you were installing a game or patch.

TK_GvR: Please rethink they way DLCs are added to "Programs and Features" area.

It would be nicer to keep things clean like in this example:

The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3 - DLC 1 [Name of DLC]
The Witcher 3 - DLC 2 [Name of DLC]
The Witcher 3 - DLC 3 [Name of DLC]
The Witcher 3 - DLC 4 [Name of DLC]
....
This would be nice, but not just for DLCs. The thing is, GOG seems to have it's own twisted logic (and it IS twisted) about naming conventions, on all games and files. Their system benefits GOG, not downloaders and users, who find it utterly confusing, and requests to deal with this issue, not to mention complaints, are legion.
Thanks GOG and CDPR! The game game is really ( really, really ) good.

Aside from the occasional technical hiccups and glitches, I already consider it one of the best games I've played, and it seems so far I've only experienced a small portion of the full game.

Also, thanks for providing alternate direct download links for these DLCs, and not making them Galaxy exclusive.

Looking forward to the remaining DLC releases.

I dont see the logic here if you open Galaxy for the DLC so far it is listed in release order the same as announcments so far. Twisted logic seems logical to me.

i would prefer to know if it DL itself automatically or not.

Seriously lots of twisted things in the world but this DLC I cant see it.

Plus its free FFS

1. Nobody mentioned Galaxy.
2. I said naming conventions. Try downloading (manually) files from games that have patches. GOG file names show absolutely no relationship to what version/patch you are downloading, and the same is true for installers. If you are playing game XXX with patch 123, the GOG file names will something bizarely different, and you won't know what's what.
3. Nobody said DLC is twisted. Again, I said GOG's naming convention is twisted.
4. Just for good measure: nobody mentioned Galaxy.
Nice.

Off-topic, hope the rest of the Telltale games come soon, and you're able to buy more great old IP (howzabout buying the Dune games from EA and working out a deal with Herbert Props LLC) for re-releasing. :)
Wow I missed this, I thought that the free DLCs on release would be it, but now you tell me that they will be 16 in total? And on top of that you have a expansion pass on the way, and that I will gladly pay for, no worries :)

And yes loving the gaming, it is wonderful! Right up the same quality as I expect from Rockstar or Blizzard.

GODLIKE!
The new DLCs are not available to me in the Configure section. It still reads the Temerian Armor set and Hair and Beard DLCs only.

TO THOSE THAT HAD PROBLEMS RUNNING THE DLC

After a brief couple hours of down time and server issues, the DLCs are now fully functional once more and all should run smoothly for those downloading their extra Wild Hunt content. We apologise for the wait!

—> You say the DLCs work, but I can’t play my save. What’s up?
If your recent saves say “Save data unavailable” or similar and you have started on the “Contract: Missing Miners” quest before saving, you will have to reinstall the DLCs. Simply do so via GOG Galaxy (or through the GOG Downloader) and continue your adventures where you left off!

—> Something else is wrong. Help!
See if your question has already been answered in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOG.com subforum. If not, [url=]shoot our support team a line[/url]!
bit off the subject but does anyone know how to use the store crediti have been given.. thanks

same here
And this is how Yen should look like from the beginning! It's much closer to her image from the books.

Yup, they're gone AGAIN. Seriously it's getting annoying...

Fix for all of you who can't see dlc in gog galaxy client or canno't load a save file cos it's missing DLC.

Today i downloaded missing miners dlc and played the game for some time, saved the game went for a dinner and turned off that dlc before launching game again ( don't know why i did it ). After that DLC dissapeared from my DLC list and i couldnt load my save cos i didn't have DLC installed. The way to install dlc withous it being on the list is:

1. Go to gog galaxy client -> library -> the witcher 3
2. click "More" -> "Get Backup and Extras"
3. From the list on right side click on "DLC - NEW QUEST -" ( it should start downloading )
4. After it's done downloading go to your GOG galaxy folder ( the folder that GOG Galaxy keeps all the games )
5. In one folder you have all the games and in second ( default "!Downloads" ) you have all the downloaded files. You should have folder "the_witcher_3_wild_hunt" in there, open it and there should be file "setup_the_witcher3_dlc3_2.0.0.30". Double click it and install the DLC.
6. Launch the game and enjoy

Edit:
If you install DLC like that it still won't be on the list ( it must be something with gog servers ) but dont worry the dlc is installed and it is working!

Zoidberg: Isn't she the emperor's daughter?
avatar
zeo: He thinks of her as his daughter and she sees him as her father. I for one see something wrong with adopting a child, living with them and treating them as your offspring for 15 years and then having a sexual relationship with them.
That was beyond the point of my post.

She is NOT Geralt's daughter.

Kolto66: how can i "dress" Yennifer with the new clothes?
or
where in the game can i see her new look?
avatar
katatonicone: Once you install the DLC the alternative look is on. You may see the effect for instance when she meets Geralt for the first time.
It would be cool if the cosmetic stuff could be turned on or off in the game options... rather than install or uninstall to change cosmetic options. Unless it is there and I missed it.

Tis a well game.
I have to say, CDPR has continued it's reputation in my book as the best game developer there is. And this game...THIS game, Witcher 3 is your lifetime masterpiece. The amount of content in here is staggering!

That said...where do I find this Temerian armor set? I don't have a clue!
