A new contract and alternative look for Yennefer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt keeps things interesting with another two pieces of the 16 FREE DLC Program that will continue trickling down for a while yet. Previously, Geralt got to suit up in a Temerian set of armor, and then clean up good with the Haircut & Beard set.

Now, you can take a minute to play a little dress up thanks to the brand new, alternative look for the mighty sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg. How sultry!

We'll also take on an exciting new contract (and if you've played The Witcher 3, you know how extensive those can get) with the "Missing Miners" quest: Miners from a small Skellige village are disappearing. Investigate and find out what's happening!

Installing the free DLC:
Here is how you can grab and install your new DLC in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's just like buying a game.

If you're using GOG Galaxy:
--Select The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the sidebar to open its game page.
--Click on the drop-down labeled "More", (located next to the PLAY button) and choose "Configure".
--The Configure page will feature all available DLCs listed towards the bottom.
--Select each DLC that you want to install, and GOG Galaxy will do the rest. If you want to remove the DLC from your game, simply uncheck the selection box.

If you're using the website:
You can download installers for each DLC pack manually. Simply head to the Library section of My Account, locate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and download the files you want. Afterwards, run each one as if you were installing a game or patch.

Ciris: —> Something else is wrong. Help!
See if your question has already been answered in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOG.com subforum. If not, shoot our support team a line!
Kudos to you for including the subforum link as a helpful gesture to all the newcomers. :)

Just as a final update: the new DLC/game files are still propagating, it appears, so SOME of you may still experience some issues with DLCs. In that case, contact our support.

As I understand it, it may take up to a 24 hours' wait from when the DLCs were once again made available after a quick fix for a 100% stable, tested, and sure-fire download - that means that all should be 100% propagated, downloadable, playable and operating at full speed within the next 4-5 hours. Do contact our support team if you run into trouble, though!
Yay for free content :-)

katatonicone: Once you install the DLC the alternative look is on. You may see the effect for instance when she meets Geralt for the first time.
It never crossed my mind the DLC could work *this* way. Thanks!

P1na: Please don't tell me we're going to get front page announcements for this every week. The general forums being spammed with this game is enough.
I know what you mean. People have very short memories, it seems. What happened to all the furore over the Witcher 3 "Episode Pass" which caused a lot of people to withdraw their pre-orders?

So, it is good that CDPR are giving away this type of content for free - but the question still remains: Why is this type of content even DLC in the first place? Sure, 16 " free" DLC sounds good, but it does kind of hint that this is more of a publicity stunt for Witcher 3, particularly since CDPR intent to sell larger DLC anyway.

In essence, the 16 "free" DLC being given away are minor pieces of little value, which would probably be unsellable on their own.

This shows that CDPR doesn't really understand the whole problem with the 'Horse Armour' debacle - it wasn't that Bethesda had the gall to sell Horse Armour, but the fact that they spent time on it which could have been better spent elsewhere. Giving it away for free is good, but even better is not wasting time on such DLC in the first place...

Free Horse Armour is still Horse Armour, whether you pay for it or not!
It means keeping the game active while they work on the bigger DLC.
Wow.. some of you guys.. unbelievable. Great game, cool little packages, can't wait to /buy/ the expansions.

Edit: please spam the front page with witcher stuff as much as you want, does someone else have a better game out right now? Something else worth mentioning? ..right. Didn't think so.

Are you accessing your game collection via the site? If yes - they are labelled "DLC Downloads" and listed right under "Game Downloads". If you don't have that, then you should contact support.

I had the same issue, then stumbled across the description by GOG:

Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's just like buying a game.
After you did this, the DLCs should appear in the list of downloadable Witcher 3 files.
