Currently trying to fix my laptop - though half-tempted to just smash it to pieces. :)

Discovered replacing the screen is liable to cost nearly as much as I paid for the thing and the system is just unreliable as poop. Now it's stuck in updating windows, and the instructions for bypassing or even just doing reset to factory settings (again) aren't working.

edit: Sigh - think what happened is spouse turned the router off for bed (radiation!!1!) when it was in the middle of an hour+ long update. After some poking/prodding...it looks like it might be back on track.

That's what spouses are made for....

Hi everyone!

It seems I got in line for hosting a bit earlier than I hoped. Unfortunately my project is in it's final stages where things are as hot as they can get and doing 60+ hours a week is bogging me down quite a lot. This will continue at least a couple of more weeks before I get some breathing room, so please, pass the host token to Vitek who seems to be the next in line after me. I'll be getting back to forum mafia as soon as I get a bit less overwhelmed.

It sounds like there's at least an outside chance it will drop to me, though it sounds like one potential mod is still in the wind.

Given that RL seems to be busy for many of us, I'm inclined to say I'd run something simpler. Curious if there'd be interest for a semi-open setup:

1) 9 players for a matrix 6 (7:2) setup, or
2) 13 players for a matrix 14 setup (variable, though I'd probably weed out any 9:2:2 results to keep it simple, so either 10:3 or 10:2:1)

So straw poll: who would want to play one/either of those? Signups probably this weekend with a launch early next week if the interest is there, and no other more ambitious mod appears on the horizon.

I am up for anything so you can count me in for any setup
