Lifthrasil: Looks like a cult game - and yes, if will be known that there is a cult.

JMich: Ah, I'm guessing I'll be the D1 lynch then. Something about me being a horrible human person or similar...
Don't worry. I will be the mod, so I won't lynch anyone. I'll just watch and laugh evilly. And modkill from time to time, of course. ;-)

bler144: I don't know why, but I was tempted to make like 3 different "yer mom" jokes out of those phrases.
I intentionally made it suggestive, if that wasn't obvious. Though the intended suggestiveness had nothing to do with moms.

I have no experience with cult games, so I'm open to giving it a try. Hey, mayyyybe this time I won't roll vanilla townie, or, even if I do, maybe I won't be stuck it the whole game! WOO!

I mean...GO TOWN!!!

By the way, will this be Game #41, because we don't count Resistance? Or do we count it as game #42? I am for 42, because that is The Answer!

or none because it's not a scheduled/sanctioned game?!

Why? I am somewhere in the schedule and I sanction this game! ;-)

Meetings were held, root cause analysis was applied, paradigms were shifted.

And the number of the game shall be 41.
And then we shall all wait for the glorious return of Krypsyn.
@Lifthrasil, shall we move you up the list to host a game next??

Yes. Please do so.

Since the balancing is anyhow a currently ongoing process, we don't have a fixed number of players yet. Or in other words: we will be able to accomodate any number of players, I think. I'll open a sign-up thread to see how many are interested in playing and I'll set a maximum number of players, when we have agreed on one. Or when the signups dry out.
And here it is. Have at it!

Now that I'm actually sitting on the mod side of things next to Lift I'm starting to see how cumbersome some of the stuff the mod needs to check and look for are.

Some of you already saw the quality-of-life features the forum where Yog is kicking ass on the world championship has. What do you think about trying to implement similar features to help out both the mods and the players? It won't be as powerful and flexible as what they have their because of forum software limitations but I have at least some ideas that may work.

The catch is that in order for this to work we'll have to establish some stricter notation and rules of posting (specific patterns of voting/unvoting, dusk/dawn posts, etc.).

Thoughts?

I'm interested. Not sure how I can help, but maybe Adalia can take some lead in development?

The bigger trick might be teaching newbies the usage.

Edit: On a side note, perhaps making a dedicated reference thread or something, where mods can provide notes/comments about their methods? On the flip side, we might have all stumbled on to mostly the same tactics, so I don't know how useful that will be.
