Vitek: [Sorry for off-topic but I remembered now that I was strongarm in Game 8 so I would be able to kill Twiligh if he protected himself.
I remembered this myself and certainly did not recieved any message reminding me it.
I am sorry, Joe. I hope you will be able to forgive me one day. :-P

JoeSapphire: Vitek I have the deep cyber-bromance for you. I have gone too long saying nothing and now I must confess all lest my heart split with the strain!
Where did Vitek say this!? It sure as hell wasn't post 11.
Shut your face mouth

No really, I can't find it. ;o;

Because he cheated and quoted me from another thread (Game 10). ;-)

@Zchinque; I welcome all versions. Item mafia could be fun, I usually get only small ability as town and this could off-set it. :-) Kingmaker or something more traditional sounds fine too.
Orryyrro has asked to be replaced in game 10.
We're not far into day 2, so you haven't missed too much.
Anyone interested?
Just a heads up, when either game 9 or 10 is moving into the later stages (last day), sign ups for game 11 will commence. Still have a few things to work out with the setup, but it's practically ready to go. (Just need to write PMs, day 1 flavour and make a single decision about the setup, really :p)

Good luck with it then. I hope you all have the best of fun and it becomes a smashing success. :)

May I suggest waiting with posting signups until the game has finished? I don't think anyone wants a repeat of the #10 signup thread...

You make a very good point, actually... One cannot know if the last day drags out...

A very very good point. I think Rod had to replace a quarter of his players before the game started.
"Making shorter post 101" at request of player who-shall-not-be-named and who makes far too long posts. :-)

Let's say you make case on someone and need to link his posts to show how scummy he is.

You can quote all his/her posts and it's easier for others to see you are (or not) twisting his/her words but it also make your posts too long. Or you can just refer to them and people should read them but we know most people is too lazy to do so.
There is another option!

1.You sure know you can post link to some thread. It's easy. You just have to copy it's adress into your post. ==> http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/forum_mafia_administration_and_general_discussion_1

It has two problems, though. It links to whole thread, not to desired post, and it doesn't look good. If you had more of those in your post it could become unhealthy mess.

2. Luckily we can make links to single post too.
Maybe you noticed it already, when you hover your cursor over some post few things appear. There is reply and rate buttons in the right upper corner of course but also right next to date post number with chain icon appears. When we click this we get big red arrow next to post and adress changes to link specificaly to that post.
We can copy that link and get this: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/forum_mafia_administration_and_general_discussion_1/post75

3. It's already better as it can direct reader to specific post but it still does look unattractively.
We need to hide it behind words, numbers, sentences or anything.

3.I. We write desired text first, i.e. Joe loves me.

3.II. We highlight it and press the little chain button located in "Add new post" window right under "My message:" text. We get this: (url=Joe loves me. ]Joe loves me. If you post it like this it will be link leading nowhere.
(There is intentional mistake in brackets to make it visible.)
(You can also hit the chain button first to get url brackets and fill in a text but this way I like it more.)

3.III. We take the link to specific post and put it into first brackets, right after the sign of equation, replacing the present text. Now it looks like this: (url=http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/forum_mafia_administration_and_general_discussion_1/post75)Joe loves me.(/url)
(Different brackets again)
And works like this: Joe loves me.

4 That's it, we are done. Enjoy your succes.
