We currently delete polls and message boards after two years of inactivity, i.e., if there has not been a vote, comment or any other modification of your poll in two years. If you need your poll to be available beyond that, please contact us.
Couldn't find anything about this in the proboards FAQ.

Sorry, I know you folks do, but I was kinda low when i wrote that. And rather scared. thank you for the outpouring of love, prayers, and well-wishes from all of you!

Goodish news! The bronchoscopy went well (she didn't die), and she "might" come off the ventilator today. (if her oxygen level requirements get down low enough. Then again, nearly every single night has been "bad". yesterday she coughed up blood, so the doctors opted to put her all the way under and do the full version of the test.

However, they didn't find anything specifically wrong as an "aha, this is it!" thing. (No noticeable scarring?)

Some medial person said, "if the normal antibiotic output is a gun, they gave her a bazooka of antibiotics" and so any bacteria should have been gone. Her AFib has been cured for 2 weeks now.
She has 70% chance of getting off ventilator in 48 hours, and doctors think that whatever it is she has is treatable..... If only they knew what to treat. They did sample something, but maybe it is viral.

I think she is awake?

Update... She is NOT awake but being kept sedated.
[She] is still under sedation, not awake at all. As normal for sedated people she can hear but not respond. Machine is breathing for her.
