That's really unfortunate. I suppose there is no point in trying to persuade you to stick around. I've walked this path before and know how overwhelming the game can be. I hope you give it another try at some point.

I'd hate to ask him yet again, but maybe Micro would be available? I know he had access to discussion, but the game barely started, so maybe if he's willing to play you could invite him in, and then start a new discussion topic to which he won't have access?

OK, 48 hrs into the game, I'm going to place my non-RVS vote. The only scummish vibes I got were from dedo for his LAMIST "how do you know there is only 2 Mafia?" and "Day-chat?" posts. They felt wrong.

I am more inclined to say town but well, it's for a bit rude and insulting reasons and for the sake of GH, I hope he is mafia. But more likely town thinking how sneaky he was.

I don't think it worked too well for town in previous game. It still dominated most of the D2 discussion and there was some chance the lynch wouldn't even happen without mafia particiaption. So I feel like the self-resolve does not work that well and it is more like putting off decision.

You mean in HP game? And what do you mean by "sneaky", if you could clarify it a bit more?

You mean we should have killed a claim cop back then on D1?

And you think we should kill a claimed "PR" on D1 now?

Regardless of how you choose to see it, it's how I felt about those things and I pointed them out when I saw them.


I'm leaving for the weekend now and will be back some time tomorrow, most likely the late evening (if it's too late I may appear on the next morning as it's a long drive). This is what I got so far (not much):

- GH caused an eyebrow raise initially but I think I understand what he is trying to do which is fine by me. He might be trying to emulate what he did in that Harry Potter game but as scum this time but I kind of don't think he can pull that off (I'm sorry GH, I don't mean to offend you but that's how I feel - maybe you are scum and your plan is working in which case good for you, but I don't think so). Not voting today.

- Dremia (or the slot at least) - The way she exited the game feels to me like a person who is not working with anyone else. Likely not scum. Not voting today.

- Pookina's questioning is not up my street but I don't think scum Pookina would do that (we were scum together once and this doesn't look like that time, nor his participation in general). Not voting today.

Everyone else is pretty much themselves or unknown (I'm not familiar with nmillar's playstyle) so neutral. All vote-able.

What's with the upvoting in this game?

No and I don't think I ever hinted at such. What I think is we should, with cases like Carradice, decide if we believe the person or not and lynch or don't on that basis and if the person survives the night then next Day, instead of expecting it will be self-resolved, it should be expected they will be crux of discussion yet again. So I feel like the self-resolving is bit naive or even dishonest (but not in scummy way because you voiced the same opinion last game when you were town).

Besides, there is not even claimed PR here yet, just someone waving sign, "Hey, I am super important, don't kill me!".

In HP and possibly here (depends whether you are town or scum). Well, you braedcrumbed and it's something that shouldn't be seen until pointed out, so you thought you were being sneaky but you were not if everyone saw it.

To clarify: I either forgot or didn't know(with my memory it could be either one) it was Role Madness. I saw I had a role and tried to crumb it(which i'm not good at, as you can tell).

Also toyed with the idea of either crumbing or outright claiming(both ways seem to be viable, if I read the various info I found correctly).

(Might still claim if need be later on, even if not voted much or at all, if it'll help town)


As said a few times, not so good with the crumbs. Wanted to also make sure they were seen by town and not missed, but not too obvious...of course I overcompensated a bit(understatement) that time.

In this game I tried making it more subtle(in HP game I posted links, questions, etc...so this time I was more subdued I think)....though obviously not subtle enough.

OK, I see what you mean here. I think I used a wrong term here. "Resolve" does suggest a finality (i.e. it will be completely resolved). What I meant was more like "self-unfold". On D2, if GH is still alive, we'll be in a better position to deal with it.

I'm more than willing to claim if need be if alive on D2...that is, if a decent number want me to do so.....in order to not be a distraction and if it will help town.

Feel free to let me know how you feel about that plan.
