Losing mchack isn't exactly a surprise after his claim, and a least we can be 100% sure it was true, but having a cyborg get NK'd or fail a conversion is a real bonus.

I don't see why cyborgs would be out of conversions. They could be, if dedo held the unused conversion, but they also could have one left.

My reads so far this game have been absolutely atrocious. I never got my vote in, but it'd have been for Leonard as well. :/ And although I reached the lone conclusion that dedo had been scum - that's not actually helpful to us anymore now, and then I even had him leaning toward Mutant...

One initial hopeful conclusion about the night's activity: Neither scum team was certain enough of their vanilla town reads to use their remaining conversion, and I don't think these particular flips will clear up things all that much. So, masons, you're doing well: stay townie! And townies, you're doing well: stay potentially masony!

I'm inclined to also vote HSL, and attempt a swift lynch, but let's at least give everyone a chance to weigh in.

Eh... I think you may want to try reposting this whole post as it doesn't make a lot of sense.
While I buy the argument about the mutants not killing a cyborg your second statement states that the mutants killed dedo and dedo failed a conversion. Which would mean we'd only have had one flip. For all we know the cyborgs are out of conversions (although assuming the Cyborgs did convert N1 I'm not sure dedo would have been the one to do it so I wouldn't count on that) but without knowing whether dedo was an Original or whether he had used his shot yesterday it's impossible to tell.
Basically I would work on the basis both teams have 1 conversion shot left, unless you happen to know otherwise?


Here's the way I see it;
Either team could have good reason to remove mchack but if we assume that it was the Cyborgs who successfully converted N1 then it makes more sense they were the ones to do it.
Which means the mutant killed dedo. Now I don't think any of us thought dedo was mchack's mason buddy and the mutant isn't going to be trying to kill vanillas off so they must have thought dedo was scum. So the mutant was aiming to kill scum, which suggests they aren't all that bothered about town at the moment.
So while Leonard flipping town has made me reconsider my positions I think we've still got at least one scum who's still happily sailing under the radar and we need to keep that in mind.

With that being said I do plan to try and do a reread of Bookwyrm and Hyper to see if I'm just missing something everyone else has picked up on. Though it will probably be Tuesday before I can do so.

Would anyone who voted Hyper yesterday briefly outline their arguments for why they think he is scum?
Same for Bookwyrm.


Also, from next Sunday (a week tomorrow) my partner and I are going away for a few days. I'll have WiFi and my phone, but I'm probably not going to be available too much. Obviously it's a few days away and it may be night again so it might not be an issue, but I just thought I should mention it now.

So the "dedo did a misconversion" part of this last sentence was already wrong. Dedo, or one of his cyborg partners, used a NK on mchack.

Good point... possibly not. I'll have to think about it, the scum still most likely have conversion shots left so the masons claiming, while helpful, may not be the best course of action today. And if we can successfully point out scum then that means both teams may find it easier to use any conversion shots they do have left...
But if we can properly narrow down the field we can hopefully start lynching correctly, but that may not be enough if the scum teams are confident to use their conversions...

I'll ponder it more today and try to post some more later or tomorrow when I have a chance. Got to go get to work now, not sure when I'll next have a break.

Something for the two masons to consider: right now, the two of you can verify each other. If the third possibility for mason ends up being scum, then there is no way to validate who is the last mason if one of you dies. I'll leave you two to make that decision, but think on it.

Krypsyn and ZFR are among my favorites for likelihood of flipping scum.

If you both claim now, we're practically screwed. With a conversion remaining for each team, townies have very tough time wining, even if we lynch correctly today.
Think about it, and decide what to do.
At the risk of sounding scummy, I'll vote for adalia/HSL then Bookwyrm too. In that order.

Curious. The list I gave is almost exactly that of a confirmed Mason (mchack). I made up my mind separately, and am not following his list blindly, but why would you think that following the scum-list of a Mason is at all scummy?

I'm sorry for being absent for several days. I passed out at work Wednesday morning and face planted on the cement. I went to employee health who politely informed me I needed a doctor's release to return to work. At the doctor's office I obligingly passed out again and then took an ambulance ride back to my hospital (ironic).

I'm also not fond of ZFR and gogtrial34987 saying now that they knew/concluded that dedoporno was scum. And while I'll give gogtrial34987 a bit of leeway as D2 ended abruptly - @ZFR, why didn't you say anything Yesterday if you knew he was scum? Why not make a case on why he's scum, and have others take a closer look at him? We might have lynched scum Yesterday instead of a townie.
