Hunter65536: Isn't the consensus that d1 no lynch is bad using probability or something?
I wondered the same thing. There aren't any new players this time around to go over the Speech and condemn roles discussion on day one.

Then again we do have the double lynch option this time which is something I have never seen here, but that shouldn't change things that much.
@hunter

it's just a joke anymore

I pushed it hard in my first game regardless of the speech

and brought it up in subsequent games mostly jokingly and now it's become a thing

if I ever do it it's RVS (even when I'm scum!)

That's what scum would say!

Ok, ok. I've had my fun. Back to the game.

So, why doesn't the traitor among us just own up? If you rabbits fight for some cause, shouldn't you be proud of it, if you're serious about it? Or are you traitor as cowardly as your nickname suggests? I dare you to prove me wrong, show courage and reveal yourself!

What does that mean?

Yeah, rabbits are not cowardly. Lift really crossed the line this time. :P

That makes a bit more sense than how I read it first. Still, this taunt felt a bit more forced than the usual RVS ranting.

Do you think Lift drew the short straw again in a Jmich game? Serial killer last time and Cult leader this time?

@drealmer Just an FYI for you, this is a game where I can see no lynch being a viable Day 1 option.

Really? How? No-lynch just gives the cult leader a head start in converting one of us without town gaining any information from Day 1. Bad idea.
hmmm, yeah, why is that, trent?

I don't know but it's possible. That's kind of the whole point of the Meme.

Do you have a reasonable explanation on how that might work in our favor?
I don't think that Lift's RP is particularly alignment indicative - he likes to do it sometimes, and as long as he doesn't keep role-playing far into the point where actual content is being generated he's alright with me.

Dedoporno's opening is the only one that I like so far, but that's just because he seems decently relaxed which isn't particularly compelling when I have no idea if he's comfortable playing scum or not.

Trent's question is... confusing. The scum perspective I see is pretty obvioisly that Trent wants a no lynch to give him an opportunity to recruit with impunity, but I'm pretty interested in hearing what town perspective he's offering up.

Did not say I was pushing no lynch, I said it could be a viable option. I am all for trying our best to find the cult leader today and lynchjng them. But if we can't come to a firm choice a no lynch is a god option because in the majority of the games I've played the Day 1 lynch ends up being a townie. So if we lynch a townie today tomorrow we start with 7 players. Majority vote is 4, with 2 cult members in play I would rather have 5 be the majority.

Really? This game is no different than any other game when it comes to no-lynching on day 1 and even though the stats are in favor of hitting a townie this never stopped us nor it has to now. This time around we even have the luxury of knowing exactly the extent of potential power roles there might be available so even the stats within the Town pool make it not likely hitting one.

I'd argue that no-lynch is now worse than ever before.

In addition, if we do it, tomorrow we have a double lynch and nothing to go on. 2 no-lynches?!

Trent, if this was your first game I wouldn't have nitpicked much more than this but you know better than that. I don't like that, my friend.
