Welcome to Space Station Epsilon! You have been selected as the best and brightest in your fields of research and engineering that were willing to be sent out to the edges of known space to support our exploration efforts without actually being allowed to do the whole exploration business yourselves. We assure you that the recent glitches with our communications equipment will be resolved soon. In the meantime, please attend to your work and attempt to put up with the space station's somewhat erratic AI, the Quantum Unix Artificial Director. We hope you enjoy your stay and are not eaten by aliens.
For those of you who have no idea what I'm on about, this is a forum Mafia game. For the uninitiated, details of how Mafia works can be found at the GOG Mafia main thread over here. To summarise - the Town have to find and vote off the Mafia members during the daytime, while the Mafia need to blend in and mislynch Town players while killing off the Town players at night. I should warn you that this particular scenario gets a little more complicated, but those are the basics.
Please note that a certain level of activity is required for Mafia to run smoothly. While I'm hardly one to talk, admittedly, I would request that all players try and post at least something every 36 hours. It doesn't have to be much if you're really that busy (though do inform me if something major comes up so I can see about a replacement), but be aware that the rest of the player base may get particularly lynch-happy if you don't come up with something useful every so often, and that's never what you want. :)
This is a 13 player setup. I might be able to crowbar in a 14th with a small amount of furious typing - if you're interested, please post here. [EDIT: All right, possibly a couple more after some thought.]
