As you may know, with our Winter Sale Calendar (scroll down on the page to find it), every day we’re offering you some gaming-related goodness. Sometimes it’s a giveaway, sometimes a special discount, sometimes a quiz, and sometimes…

Dedicated Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory servers that you can join to shoot both GOG employees and other members of our community!

EU Server IP: 176.9.113.42:27960
NA Server IP: 45.45.238.55:27960


Details about both servers:

Game Type: Rotating campaign
Maximum Players: 36
Mods: None
Friendly Fire: Yes
Punkbuster: No
Anti-Lag: Yes
Max Lives: Off

The servers will run until January 3rd, 8 AM UTC. Let’s have some good old Wolfenstein fun together!

I've connected there a bunch of times and I don't see any other players. Maybe it's all about peak hours. But thanks for hosting this and giving us a chance to play together again during the holidays. If anyone knows about peak hours for gameplay on the server, let me know.

Have not joined last few days except once, but about time you posted this message and previous hour, was if i remember right, when there were most players, even at those first days when servers were just made.

Might be because Christmas and New year date meant even those more dedicated didn't play at those dates due families and such.

Yet even at best times, most we had was 5v5 i think.

Edit: And I am yet to recognize anyone from GOG staff (not like it means much, probably wouldn't recognize name) or see here of someone bragging to have seen them.

I just wanted to say thanks once more to GOG for providing this opportunity to play with other GOG users. Got lucky to find people online a couple of times and had a good time. If any staff members were participating that I don't know.

In case anyone is looking to keep playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, I wanted to share a server I have been playing on a few times now that is offered by the Fearless Assassins gaming community. This one seems to be open to everyone and regularly well-populated, and I felt quite welcome. You have to see if the ping you get makes this usable for you.
