Eugen System is working on a sequel to Act of War called Act of Aggression.

Not sure why the audio doesn't autostart. The vehicles look like toys too. It's probably going to be better from a top down view though.
Looks cool and I enjoyed at least one of the Act of War series a bit back in the day.
Oh yeah I know of this game. Its supposed to be released somewhere in 2015. If its going to be as epic as Act of War + expansion its going to be really good.

I'm actually quite pleased that some web-designer finally got the point that not everyone wants LOUD BROWSER USAGE! :D

But other than that, I completely agree with you. The vehicles (or their physics maybe) look like toys.
Looks pretty cool. Might have to keep on the lookout for it.
Necrobump!!!

New gameplay trailer

I saw this on another forum and decided to share here, especially considering that we recently got Act of War released on gog. Looking forward for this since, you know, C&C is dead...
Any report on whether it will be DRM free or not?

Aye, there's the rub, ain't it? =P
Looks OK, I hope it'll be a proper base-builder/resource-gatherer type RTS, not the Dawn of War 2 abominations that are so frequent.

Yep.

You mean the game based on source material where base-building doesn't make any sense lore-wise? Besides, there's nothing like Dawn of War 2. Let's have more innovative games, not less.
Never played Act of War (maybe I should rectify that) but this reminds me of C&C Generals, and that's a good thing.

FYI WH40K is a TERRIBLE game, and probably the most unbalanced wargame that has ever existed, and this is from someone who at one stage collected miniatures. The good thing is the fluff and lore.

Also what's with the buzzword "innovative", I'm objecting to the lack of strategy is a so-called RT Strategy game. Don't put "Strategy" on the box if what you're selling is a tactics thing.

Yes, you should. Yes, it's like CnC Generals

Well, WH40K is not a game, it's a setting - and as for the wargame which spawned it, I don't care, I'm a lore freak, however I refuse to drop the amount money that Games Workshop requires to construct even a basic army. I'm absolutely into stuff like Dark Heresy or Space Hulk. I'm just saying that Dawn of War 2 makes a lot more sense lore-wise than the original.

Dawn of War 1: More-or-less traditional resource-based, base-building RTS.

Dawn of War 2: Some super-zoomed-in tactics/RPG thing which practically zero "strategy".

It has little to do with the actual tabletop game (if it was, it'd be turn-based) and everything to do with it not living up to the expectations of the first game. It's like if Age of Empires 2 was some top-down tactics thing like Syndicate Wars - people would be like "WHY?".
