I am SO angry.
Ouch...

Part of it might be you needed to dust the computer out (dust holds heat), but the power supply if it wasn't strong enough, i certainly wouldn't try to use too powerful of hardware on a power supply that's not rated for it. In theory you CAN... If you don't have a powerful power supply you might consider a low power/mobile chip set which doesn't require direct power from the Power Supply in order to run.

Something i've been doing is putting my computer in power saving mode until i need it.. So...

I hope you get things going again.
I felt like i was reading a horse race broadcast...

Oh, i forgot, RIP fr33kSh0w2012 PC.

So, It was was still new and shiny?
If it was under insurance or having guarantee/warranty then you may get a full replacement.
If you bought it from a retailer and he is a good person then he may help you out.
See and make a list of parts that are unaffected. You can buy few cheaper parts on ebay/ from other friend.
If all went fine it will take day or two and you will have your PC up and running.
Ooh, that's rough. I hope all the expensive parts are salvageable. amrit9037 has the right idea, you should be able to RMA the power supply, and then check on all the other parts and see if anything is damaged and under warranty.

I'm pretty broke, too, so I know what it's like to be without a decent computer. Mine isn't even as good as yours, but I saved up money for an entire year and tried to buy the best parts that I could. It lasted about a year, just long enough for everything to be out of warranty, before the motherboard just died on me during boot and I don't know why. It took me months of more saving to replace it.

You should have tried to contact the retailer you brought that from.
They usually extend the warranty in back date and help you to replace your PC/Laptop parts.
2 years back my friend's laptop's motherboard and hdd went dead.
Their guarantee/warranty were expired too.

On contacting the retailer he gave him 3 options:
1.Repair your Motherboard and replace hdd. Repairing charge would be paid by my friend.
2.Replace both motherboard and hdd. Wich was much more costly!
3.Extend warranty in back date and replace motherboard with hdd for free. No charges extra!

3rd option was way more cheaper than first two.

Therefore, ask retailer politely and he may help you!
So the WiiU doesn't support punctuation and paragraphs? No wonder the system is failing so hard...

Nice to know. I thought about it, but I was too pessimistic at the time and thought it would be too much hassle and they wouldn't help. I think the new motherboard is an improvement over the last one though, so I'm over it. I would like to know what went wrong, though.
White Melted Looking crap? You should return it and charge them for the motherboard, power supplys are not supposed to do that.
Double ouch!!

If any of the things that caused it were still new, put in a claim against them. Never heard of that happening before.

If old(ish) gear, can you use your homes contents insurance to make a claim to re-buy all the stuff?
