mike_cesara: Wasn't really aware who's behind the story until now. Just read an article. I guess he's one of those angry twatter users. Well, the game wasn't on my wishlist anyway..

Darvond: Probably shouldn't trust the Dramatica of all places.
Phil Fish is an exception

mike_cesara: Encyclopedia Dramatica is as reliable as any other source and in this case clearly says Phil and I aren't in the same team.
Yes, but you gotta learn to read that source. It's satire.

Lucian_Galca: Unfortunate, though i've already gotten my copy long ago. One of these ages I need to actually play it. The puzzle difficulty i've heard about is rather intimidating to me lol.
You don't need to do those for the regular ending, more exploration focused. The hard puzzles are for getting the second ending.

tremere110: That's the normal human experience, yes. Then there's Phil Fish. Here's something from his twitter:

Look at you life's successes, then look at mine. See the difference? You're just some nerd on Twitter, and I'm a billionaire.

tremere110: A better description would be disdainful arrogance.
Hah hah, he seems to be an... interesting fellow. He's not actually a billionaire, is he?

I know, but i'm a slightly obsessive completionist lol. :P

OMG, a post about the actual game! :P
maybe you can approve the new Anima game:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/anima_gate_of_memories_the_nameless_chronicles

I don't really understand why it's still only on steam.
the first Anima is here on gog.

yogsloth: Oh, this is the Phil Fish game.

Do I want to spend ten bucks to add this legacy to my collection? For the lulz?
it is actually a very good game

It really is.
It's a shame to see this go. An absolutely lovely game, which surprised me very positively. Puzzle games aren't really my thing, and this one was hard - but all the same it hooked me hard enough to make me finish it, even if there's still plenty of unsolved content that I'll want to dig into someday.

Indeed.

So I've heard. Thankfully I grabbed it on sale a while back. Not actually played it yet, but at least I have it.

Linko90: Hello everybody,
Per request from the Polytron Corporation, FEZ will be unavailable for sale on GOG.COM starting on July 25, 4 PM UTC. If you own FEZ on GOG.COM by that date, you'll retain access to it in your library.
I'm getting downvoted over this, so some serious talk now: I'd like some kind of statement from someone at Polytron. I'd like some conclisive confirmation, that this game is in fact NOT getting pulled over a fairly innocuous tweet gog made on an entirely unrelated game, a tweet that gog has both taken down and apologised for.

Am I reading too much into this? Or are the people at Polytron really THAT incredibly petty?

Is it? Blast! I was sure it is at least as serious as I am now!

CharlesGrey: I think I'm better than others. I'm pretty sure you're better than others, too. Isn't everyone better than others, in some ways at least?

Come to think of it, the desire to be better than others is a fundamental aspect of human existence, and has driven us to make progress in many sectors, such as science, arts, sports etc.
I am better than no one, but as good as anyone. All human life has value.
